Hello everyone, I am in the process of writing a novel and I want to use a character as a dev. I have so far established this lady has a carer but I want her to not know who she is. I know I have shot myself in the head with most of the dev's in here mainly because I have written to you and found I'm blocked.
I just want to know, to the devs?
What traits would the character have, she is looking after a tetraplegic man. It's not sexual because I don't want it that way, it's more of letting the reader understand what this woman is. Is the character of the man more appealing than his disability.

If you don't wish to write to me I understand but I'm about to pitch my book to a company and I just want some insight into a dev's mind, her feelings etc.

I guess I will ask... Why are you so universally blocked? Why do you think so many devs don't communicate with you? Do you have any ideas?

As far as your story goes, there are so many stories on the blog as well as in the archives with a lot of dev POV from which to draw.

Another question, do you have your story on the blog site? It's a great place to find an audience and get feedback.

I'd suggest posting the story or part of it here before trying to pitch it to a company.

I agree with the other comments. About what traits would she have... Do all the wheelers have the same traits? I guess you should give her a personality and start there, and ask for advice when you have something written, if only a general idea of part of the story.
