looking at the postings, it seem to me there are more disabled people hoping to actually meet devotees then there are devo,s hoping too meet disabled people is this a fair assumption?

I don't know Wheelie. The site has gotten larger as a whole. I am sure that over time the balance of devs to disabled will change back and forth. It seems we have new people quite often.

I hope so. although this is not a dating site as such, It seems a shame that very few people actually meet up. I really admire Chan for doing it though! full marks to her for doing it.

did chan meet earl here on this site?
i know a few wheelers in real life, but so far haven't come across any single dudes on paradevo (or fellow devs) who are anywhere near me location-wise.
i'm glad this site isn't geared toward match-making per se, but it would be icing on the cake if a few love/lust connections were made between folks in the process for sure.

Ever notice how no one is ever near anyone on the Internet?
I used to just think it was South Florida...

I, on the other hand, have to travel three hours just to go twenty miles south. Or at least I did, today. London traffic when there's a dusting of snow sucks balls. GAH.

Unless you have a car that floats, it's impossible to drive to my vicinity. Next best thing would be a jet plane for not even a helicopter will do.......there definitely ain't none of you guys near me! P.S. I know "ain't" ain't a proper word.

oved, havent u read the latest?...aint aint no longer a non grata word cuz we hick-types have insisted it is a word....but i do have a pet peeve when other rednecks cant spell ornery...or type "hay" instead of "hey"....but im a wee bit eccentric

jeff, i didn't know that! thanks for trying to make me feel better (i think). is the correct spelling without the apostrophe?
i, myself, have similar pet peeves, but it has nothing to do with rednecks......like when people type "your" when they really mean "you're".....

PS. I know "ain't" ain't a proper word. Speaking as a 'very' eccentric British person I can tell you that AIN'T is a very old and very correct English word. R.

Yes Ain`t is an old common word, it can mean various things like , it is not, am not, have not, even though it is in the dictionary, it is thought of as a vulgar slang word.

i, myself, have similar pet peeves, but it has nothing to do with rednecks......like when people type "your" when they really mean "you're"..... How about 'then' when they really mean 'than'? (Seriously, though, that spelling mistake has been seriously affecting my ability to parse this topic header for months. Which is possibly a testament to my inability to learn that, yes, it's spelled wrong.)
