Bleh. Well, rotten circumstances, but I hope he does call and something can come out of it. Good luck, in any case.

Write his number on your calendar on a day 4 months from now and call him then on that day. Say you rediscovered it and was wondering how he was doing. Should clear up the trauma issue a bit.

As usual, Lucretia is dab on here. But given the developments, bide your time, yet be available. Just call him back to see how he is doing.

and it sounds to me like James is quite interested in you also. It is very unusual for a patient to call the hospital and request a specific doctor or nurse to do a proceedure for them, unless there is an ulterior motive. Since he has now made the first move by his request, it would be great if you could go out for a coffee or maybe something a bit stronger. I do not think this is "unethical". He WAS your patient and no longer is. If you were a Psychiatrist and he was under your care for long-term, then it would be wrong, but you only saw him to do a minor patch up. Go for it Leilia!

grrl...he is interested,,,period,,,,we men are way to lazy to make a special phone call to a specific nurse to have our stitches removed,,,easier to slam a few brews & let one of our budz yank them out,,,,how to make sure?...plenty of soft body contact with him while doing the job,,,

Psycho snow today, yes, but it was really quite pretty, wasn't it? My friend and I were washing up this morning and looked up and there it was - big sticky flakes coming down right in the middle of London. Nice.
Congratulations, leilia. That took a lot of courage to make the first move, as it were, and you managed it. I can't wait to hear what happens tomorrow. Hopefully you'll be able to get away from the topic of his friend and talk about more personal stuff. Crossing fingers!

Off topic, but what did those huge explosions in london turn out to be? The ones the other week. I lost sight of that story.

The explosions were at a fuel depot. They're not really sure about the cause. The fire wiped out most of the clues, I think.
Goddamn were those nice sunsets the few days afterwards.

Lol! Wish I were in London...his mother would be happy to hook him up with this Jewish gal! He Leilia, it's terrible that we are all in such a small world. My family would crack if I dated someone of the Muslim faith....as I am sure yours would crack if it were you with a Jew. God, it's all so awful because we are all so much the same!
I am so glad that you got together with him. Leilia, I had no idea that you were in such a "spot", being promised to somebody. Do you love him? Is it like an arranged marriage? Would you be "disowned" by your family if you decided to go your own way and do your own thing? Maybe you can just have a great fling!
Oh life is like a movie!

... i checked his file (since he was one of my fathers old patients when he had a urological examination soon after his accident) (OK OK maybe that brings us back to slightly unethical again) and it never said in his file that he had ever been prescribed anything for erectile dysfunction! so hoping all is fine in that department too ... "slightly"? Man, oh man, girl.

Oh my god, Leilia... you hit my two major qualities I looove in a guy: disabled and Jewish. Those are my two "fetishes", so to speak. Of course, if I brought home a guy with either of those qualities to my family, I would be disowned on the spot. So no serious relationships with a cute Jewish paraplegic for me, I guess.
