Okay so we all know it’s not JUST about the chair, but for a lot of people it seems to play a big part of their dev attraction.
Please answer the question assuming you find the guy in the chair HOTT/has a good personality as well.
Does it add anything? Take anything away? Not do much at all. Why?
I’m pretty indifferent myself even tho my primary dev attraction (guys with SMA) generally means the guy is going to use a power chair.

I wasn't quite sure how to vote, but I finally opted for "All wheelchairs get me going." But, that's not quite true. I have dated guys in power chairs and manual chairs. But, imagine the following scenarios:
1. Hot AB guy with a great personality/his clone in a decent manual or power chair. I'm going for the guy in the chair, without a doubt!
2. Hot AB guy with a great personality/his clone in an old crappy "hospital" type chair or ugly poor fitting chair, manual or power. I'm going for the AB guy. The crappy chair would be a turn off.
On the other hand, just seeing a wheelchair (without the hot guy with a great personality) does nothing for me. I might be interested in the chair, especially if it was a new cool design or had a cool unique feature, but it doesn't give me any devy feelings or turn me on.

I voted indifferent. I notice chairs, and there are kinds I prefer over others... But by themselves they do nothing for me.
It's like clothes. I notice when they're cool and I notice when they're terrible, but it's the person wearing them, and how they wear them, that makes them sexy.

The clothing comparison is perfect, as I wasn’t quite sure how to explain it, but that describes my feelings too.

I assumed the poll was the wheelchair including the person... I like to check out wheelchairs sometimes by themselves just for how they look and the colors and different models...but a wheelchair is not devy to me by itself. I agree with the ladies above, the clothing comparison hits it on the spot.

Difficult to answer as the options don't really cover it.
A wheelchair can be cool and interesting, or not, in the way say a car or bike can.
On it's own a chair doesn't really press my dev buttons but what it means to it's owner can big time. Also handling a guy's chair, which I do at work sometimes, can feel like a very intimate contact.
Although I can recognise a guy using one as hot I would never be drawn to a power chair as the injuries and conditions that need them aren't my dev thing at all. For that reason I will have to go with manual.

For me it is and has always been a manual chair + hot para guy combo. I like how the right man in the right chair can look as one - a sleek, effortless combination of man and machine. Unconsciously moving around without apparent effort or thought. To me (and I’m a very visual person), there is such beauty in that. jrm pretty much summed up how I feel. A godawful clunky old hospital chair can detract so much from someone’s appearance, how they move and how confident they appear. Someone who takes pride in how they look and present themselves to others is an attractive person to me. That includes having a clean chair too btw. Nothing worse than a dirty wheelchair. Ew!

Wheelchairs don't matter, it's all about who's in them.

I agree with Robbb, except that I find chairs pretty hot by themselves, especially if whoever is in it has transferred out and is nearby.

I love seeing a hot guy in a slim, sporty manual chair.
There is honestly nothing better than seeing his veins coming through his arms as he pushes past in his chair and also watching the wheels just turn round.

Something else I really love is watching a para pushing himself up a steep hill and seeing the exertion on his face as he slows down but manages to get to the top. It's so satisfying!

Oh the chair is very important for me. When I’m fantasizing online, the chair has to be right, or it just doesn’t work. Like most devs, the more minimal the chair, the better. Ideally his chair keeps his legs pressed nice and compact together.
