Ow wow this is interesting because in my case, the wheelchair alone does nothing to me more than just interest me if it has a special feature or a cool design. But when a guy is on it, the wheelchair type does matter in a way lol. I see it as using pants (or clothes in general, just that I want to use pants for the example). Pants fit can make someone look great or not really that good, if you get what I mean. Some wheelchairs make guys look more attractive than others. By themselves they are just not really my thing lol.

Wheelchairs don't matter, it's about who is in them and the personality of the guy.

I’ll be the outlier who is willing to admit that the chair itself can be sexy. I love the sculptural forms of a self-propelled manual chair. I like nice ones on their own. In addition to this, I am attracted to those who use them, so that compounds my appreciation. Others who have compared wheelchairs to cars or clothes or haircuts are right on the money — they can look cool or dumpy on their own, but that is either enhanced or canceled out by the person using them.

A power chair to me is not as eye-catching as a manual chair. An ugly hospital chair is not esthetic in my eyes. A nice beautiful manual chair with a low backrest, that's the best. It just has a sexy appearance ... but it's like - well - part of the body, I guess. If the wheelchair is standing there empty, I find it sexy not because of the wheelchair itself, but because of the next transfer I anticipate. Sport chairs are sexy on the right person as well... eg. handbikes like shark from sopur or all kinds of basketball wheelchairs...

To help the dudes understand, we might say their chairs are to us a bit like what our lingerie is to them. Exciting to see on their own, and one can definitely admire the craftsmanship or style, but really up to the wearer/user to reach the full aesthetic potential!
And a hospital chair is the equivalent of baggy old grey underpants with holes at the waistband.

ayla said it best. A sexy, sleek, low-backed wheelchair is to me like sexy, barely there lingerie is for a man.

I really like fancy manual chairs because normally they are used by nice looking guys who are really fit.
Seeing a strongly built upper body moving a nice chair does things to me!

Same here. The problem I have is that I have a face tells you exactly what I'm thinking. I blush at the slightest thing. when I see one of these wonderful men in public, I wonder if they are getting the wrong impressino. I get bashful and refuse to give eye contact. picture this with a bright blush on my cheeks. gives off the wrong impression.

I don’t like handles on chairs, but hey, sometimes people need them!
I haven’t historically been much of a chair connoisseur, but I’m getting there, lol

I've thought about this a lot and agree with the original poster who said she would pick the guy in the nice chair over the AB guy every time. A chair is a huge turn on for me. Whenever I see a hot AB guy, I ALWAYS think about how much hotter he would be if he were in a chair. It does have to be a nice, well-fitted one, though. One of my biggest pet peeves is when characters in movies and shows use hospital/rehab chairs. It totally ruins the experience for me.
