Russian girl names are hard to beat: Natasha, Larissa, Nadia, Anastasia...
Olga is a real clunker though.
There's a traditional Tibetan name: Trinley, which means 'virtue' I think...It would be a pretty name for a girl.

going thru life w/ an unusual first name,,,especially when coupled w/ an unusual last name,,,which i have...can make a childhood hell and the rest of your born days an excercise in spelling for people I have an unusual first name, Manya (rhymes with Tanya), and have always liked it. It can get tiresome to spell it for people or, more often, in my case correct the pronunciation. But it was worth it not to go through grade school with a first name/last initial combo. |
