... i'm a member! hi everybody i've been watching every single movement on this board for about half a year now and i think it's only natural to register after such a long time of my invisible presence ;D i've never posted as a guest. one reason was that i din't really know what to say, as most of the time everything had already been said by someone else. the other reason was the apparently not really huge acceptance of guests on this board...  so... what to say about me? i'm a 24y/o female and have been a little dev all my life, though, as most of you, i didn't know that there are others who feel the same - until one night of desperate web search for an explanation i found this very site. paradevo and you, you cool, interesting (well, not all, but most of you  ) people really, really helped me on my long way to self-understanding and then self-acceptance. and only to finally tell you this was absolutely worth my registration. cheers! |

Why the name 'cake'?
I had this buddy in high school, for whom the word cake meant 'ass'. We'd be driving along and he'd see some girl with a nice butt; he'd roll down the window and yell "Cake!" at her...
So that's what I thought of. ha ha ha ha.

so glad you found us, cake! welcome!
this place has been amazing for me in helping me come to terms with my lifelong attraction to guys in chairs. just knowing that it's not just me and also discovering that some guys actually think it's cool has really helped me in coming to an acceptance of this part of myself. i've felt bad about it long enough...time to have some fun with it!
i even met my first wheeler from the boards just over a week ago (hi sid!) and it was great. didn't have a chance to discuss any dev stuff since i had a travel companion with me, but just feeling comfortable enough with that part of myself for a face to face meeting is a billion miles away from where i would have been last year at this time!
so i'm glad you registered and hope you get involved and enjoy the interaction here.
(btw to my fellow devs: sid is hot and just as funny and open as he comes across in cyberland...it was fun)

Sorry. you really made me laugh with that ;D well i didn't choose the name because of my butt, (my ass is simply not enough outstanding for that). but i really am a cake! i'm so sweet everyone wants to eat me...! lol no honestly now, i just like like the sound of it, don't know why. maybe it reminds me of "kate" and thats a name i really love. besides this, it's just cool the be called "cake" Have you had any chair boyfriends??? peace, tony no, i haven't. and i don't know if i ever will, as for now i'm very much in love with my ab boyfriend it just never happened, though i've met a few extremely gorgeous ones. i only never fell in love with one of them, and being in love is my number one condition for a relationship. sometimes i think i didn't fall in love just because i didn't allow it to myself. i met them in a time when i couldn't cope with my attraction at all, i was horribly ashamed of myself. so i guess i felt so guilty i simply wasn't able to fall in love with a chair guy... did any of you ladies use to feel the same? oh and: happy birthday tony, though a bit to late  |

...thanx for the b-day wishes, Cake!!! i had fun... for those that feel that "guilt", and i've heard that more than a few times on here, i say, 'i know it's mixed emotions with us chair-dudes, but it helps us tremendously knowing there's still girls that dig us for whatever reasons. Living and loving can be like swimming against a strong current, and while nobody can swim it for us, it helps to know that there's chicks that admire it, even attracted to it....' YOU ROCK...
