So I was in Namibia for 2 weeks with my girlfriend. We saw lots of different animals and lots of amazing landscapes. At the last day we saw a meercat and guess what... he's paraplegic.

I once went to a farm in Georgia, and there was a 3 legged pig there.
I asked the farmer about the pig and he replied in the slow Georgia drawl
'Boy, that's some pig! When the pig was a year old, it won best in show, When it was 18 months old it learnt to round up cattle, And soon after would let the chickens out, collect all the eggs, and bring them to the back door, in the afternoon it would lock them all back in the coop'
I said 'But what about'
He cut me off and said 'Boy, that's a really special pig! One night the house caught fire, and he broke in and dragged us all out of the flames one by one'
I said 'but why does he only have 3 legs?'
He replied
'Boy,
A pig that special,
You don't eat him all at once!'

Earlier this year I visited an alpaca farm in a rural part of Rensselaer County in upstate New York. Evidently, one of the younger alpacas was totally blind due to some rare genetic birth defect that is supposedly associated with alpacas only, according to the farmer.

I didn’t know that about them. Thanks for sharing! Also, I had a 3-legged dog. She lost a leg due to osteosarcoma. She got along for about 3 years (she was older when she lost her leg). Her resiliency was remarkable! She ran further and faster on the beach! She refused to let it stop her. I learned so many lessons from that dog. I still miss her ❤️.
