Heyyyy, i'm playing music with my guitar player-buddy in front of 600 people tomorrow night for this Company talent show. i did it last year, and we got the absolute best crowd reaction from any other act. To me, it's all about performing good music, and nailing it, so i've never been freaked out about having to do it from a chair. However, there has been people in audiences a little weirded out, but i think it's a rare thing. Most people dig it, or maybe just keep their mouth shut!! I'm curious...have you ever seen a chair-musician play out in public? BTW, we're going to knock out songs by The Police, U2, an original I wrote and Bon Jovi.

Heyyyy Kids.....the gig went great, and the weather was PERFECT, near 80!! There was a lot of talent that played, and me and guitarist knocked em out with really different versions of the covers we played. My boss was there, so i'm hoping she'll remember my playing at raise-time. What kinda guitar, Windrider??? My guitarist lays an acoustic Taylor, then uses an RC20 to record the rhythm track while we're playing, then plays leads over it - makes us sound more FULL, adds a lot to the sound!!

glad the gig went well, tony. sounds like it was fun. the only performer in a chair i've seen was vic chesnutt. but of course that was an unexpected plus for me.
...and spinal tap is one of my all time-favourites.

You guys ever heard of Raul Midon? He's totally awesome... and blind. Raul Midon is a god! I got to see him a few years back with Jason Mraz, and was absolutely blown away.

great pic, tony. sounds like it was a fun time. is it much different performing outdoors than indoors? do you have a preference? and hey, you must be all famous at work now!
