Hi friends, where do you get your book covers? I'm kind of looking around at all my options and curious which route you guys go with book covers. Thanks, hope everyone is safe, Dani

Good question. I’d like to know too.

For my first book, I hired a dev artist who is not a PD member, although she had a DeviantArt page. It's a good place to find dev artists. For my second book, I hired Tori, who is a member here. She was great! I highly recommend hiring someone who has a background in graphic design. Be sure to give the person a reasonable time to schedule you with their other jobs. And expect to pay for their work; don't ever ask someone to do it for free.

Thanks devogirlYeah, I checked out Deviantart already but I didnt see anything I am imagining. I am leaning toward sending out a request on there to the artists. I'll have to see. I totally expect to pay.

When I release a book on Amazon, they have some generic pics to choose from, so I've done that, but I made my own using royalty free pics from unsplash.com/ and added my own touches to it.
