Does anyone use Webtoons? I have never been a fan of anime or the like, but staring at words on my screen all day has me looking for something different.
If you do use it, any suggestions for stuff with PWD characters? I did some light Googling and the only one that popped up was "Save Me" but it seems more drama than any romance.
Any other suggestions?

Celaena you have come to the right place! I have recently started reading Webtoons a lot, even though most of the content is created by teenage girls. There's a lot of creativity and a few devvy titles, at least for me.
My #1 favorite is Flawless by Shinshinhye, a teen romance with a sexy blind boy. I've talked it up a lot but omg it's so amazing and it just keeps getting better. But fyi the first chapters are rough, because the author was so young when she started. Keep with it, it gets so much better as it goes along. It's going to end soon, so get onboard now! It's translated from Indonesian so if you're using the Webtoons app you have to navigate to the translated section to find it.
I've been reading a m-m romance sci fi story called TEN by Soenkai, that's translated from German. There is a secondary character named Kakyu who is blind. He also has a few side stories about him that I find super devvy. Webtoons is super strict about nudity so the pages have been censored but you can read the whole thing on Tapas: I really like the story arc "I Don't Dream."
On Webtoons there's another m-m romance called Bone's Tarot about a magical detective. His boyfriend is blind, and super cute! The art and storytelling are very immature and uneven but somehow I still find it really devvy.
There's also a m-m romance called #muted by kandismon, about a guy who is selectively mute due to a psychological condition.
I only read the first chapter of Save Me--where is the PWD character?
Webtoons makes it really hard to find new series because there's no tagging, the story summaries are so short, and the key word search only turns up titles. Tapas might be a better platform for online comics but I haven't checked it out as thoroughly.
Any other suggestions are welcome!

Apparently I'm the only other one here reading free web comics, but you all are missing out! So I finally got on Tapas and the app is way better than Webtoons, since it lets you search by keyword, but only if the author has tagged the work, so it's not very accurate. There are also some novels on Tapas but I haven't found any I like. Anyway I just discovered another super devvy (to me) title called Out of the Blue. tapas.io/episode/407346The synopsis reads: "Some summer in the mid-century American South a blind dam worker meets a fish monster trapped in his lake." (actually a super cute merboy, and it's a m-m romance). The comic started in 2016 but it's still ongoing. How am I only just finding this now? I've only read the first few chapters so far but it looks really good. Sorry I haven't found any titles with wheelers. It's not for lack of trying! Wheelchairs are really hard to draw, haha. There's also a story called A.M.P. about a dak amputee but it's action in a hypermasculine manga style, probably not to the taste of most people here.

OMG the version of Out of the Blue on Webtoons is updated with new art and layout, and it's even better. Only a few pages are up though. The Tapas version has 100+ more pages. I'm having a dev moment with this, haha.

It's time for another omnibus web comics update! I've been reading so many comics lately, it's great.
So first of all Flawless is finally finished. It's so good! Oh and Out of the Blue just keeps getting better and better.
I've also discovered a few new titles. The Flying Ship is a fantasy adventure story based on Russian folklore. The main character is a tough but cute lesbian LBK amputee. I'm not usually into female PWD characters so the dev factor on this one is minor for me but the art is beautiful and the story is so much fun, I'm enjoying it a lot anyway. Another one with a female PWD is Woven, a fantasy adventure story about a blind girl. It's just recently started but it looks promising. There's also a new fantasy series on Webtoon called The Blind Prince but there are only a few pages up so far, hard to tell if it will be good or not.

And I just found another great one on Webtoon.
Empyrea is a steampunk fantasy story with a secondary character who's a DBK amputee who wears bionic prosthetics. Moderately devvy so far, not that realistic (after all it's a fantasy story with magic). But the art is gorgeous, with a lovely Art Nouveau aesthetic that I just love. The amputee character shows up in chapter 19 and it looks like we'll be seeing more of him, hopefully.

Thanks devogirl ! I'm really enjoying The Flying Ship! Yeay! I'm so glad you're enjoying it! It's so good and I'm happy to spread the word for some talented creators. If anyone wants to support the artists, the best way is to make an account on Webtoon and Tapas and hit the like button on each episode.
And I just found yet another one: Collapse, about a man who can't speak stuck in a zombie apocalypse. Not my favorite genre but the art is nice and so far it seems promising. Crazy how I keep stumbling over more devvy content, my luck is good at the moment 😊

I keep finding more devvy web comics! Here's another one: Bang! Bang! BOOM! another m-m story with a LBE amputee main character. It's set in a steampunk version of 1930s Chicago, with some supernatural elements. Dev content is moderately low, again because he has a magic prosthetic. But I don't mind so much because the story and art are fantastic, and the m-m romance is deeply satisfying. I'm totally invested in the story so the few devvy moments are like the cherry on top.

Hey LaMara I'm bumping up this thread in case there are any comics here you might like. Check out the previous posts if you haven't already.
I have a few more to add:
Woven is on Tapas and Webtoon, fantasy story about a blind girl and dragons. The art is really nice.
Lovebot on Webtoon has an amputee main character but so far it doesn't feature in the story at all. But it's a really good sci fi story anyway.
Collapse on Webtoon is a zombie apocalypse story with a main character who is mute and uses ASL.
Blind Devotion on Webtoon is a sci fi story with a blind main character. The art is very stiff but the story somehow gets pretty good as it goes along. In the latest chapter a DAK character is revealed and there is a super good conversation about disability, but I don't want to spoil it.
City Vamps on Webtoon is a teen vampire romance with a blind girl as the main love interest.
De Tragedie van Thijs Wittekerk on Tapas has an amputee main character but so far only a few chapters posted.
Your Love is Weird on Tapas is a gay teen story, the main character has a congenital facial deformity.
The Curious Case of the Ring Brothers on Tapas is about conjoined twins but sadly the story has been abandoned unfinished. Still worth reading what's there.
And as always, I highly, highly recommend Out of the Blue on Tapas, featuring the hottest blind guy.
