Thank you all so much for your feedback. Except for the fetlife suggestion, while I appreciate the input, I don't need to see anything that might lead to years of counseling. I do personally desire something spiritual first of all. A connection on that level is most important. I'm a quadriplegic so anything physical is all mental anyways. If you connect on the emotional and spiritual level it only enhances anything physical for the quadriplegic. I have looked at many of those dating sites. I'm not only looking for devotees on the website, but at least one that has a few. If anybody needs any of my feedback I can tell you the ones that definitely aren't worth your money. I’m so fascinated that people are against Fetlife! It’s a healthy expression of sexuality and personality. Spiritual-emotional-physical connection are all related things. I wouldn’t say I’m “against” Fetlife but it definitely scares the crappola out of me!! There is stuff on that site that I never needed to see in my life!! Admittedly, I’m not a hugely sexual person anyway. But I have met a couple of really good guys on that site. We have had (and still have) some great conversations. I just make sure I’m very upfront right from the beginning. I’m not interested in constantly talking about sex, fooling around, fetishes etc... I’m really looking for someone to get to know and connect with. There are of course some sex convos you’re gonna get that anywhere. But on that site I have also gotten the people that that is ALLLL they want to talk about even though I made myself clear. So I just don’t talk to them. I don’t consider being a dev a “fetish” but if this site finds me a good pwd then so be it!! Haha

I was thinking about developing such a site. Marketing could be tough. But I think it’s worth a try. Marketing isn't hard. Just post on some social media platforms. But anyway, I could set up a web server if you need help with that.

Sounds good. I actually started designing last night. Are you making it dev specific or just more welcoming of devs and people who like people with disabilities and are open to or specifically desire interabled relationships? I'd love to brainstorm some on design and marketing strategies as this is something greatly needed! Would you prefer a DM or do you want all details in open conversation? Message me!

anyone ever used dating4disabled.com ? I’m on there but it’s pretty awful. I’ve started a few convos off it but can’t communicate too much unless you pay. And even at that many people aren’t on there hardly ever so you don’t get a lot of responses. Guys say a lot of bots too but I haven’t had issues with that. Mine is going to be 100% free. And I'll protect against bots.

As for sites... fetlife has some good groups but many PWDs there just want to sell pictures and videos. They're not intrested in making actualy friends or even find a partner. And then the main focus of the site is about BDSM and related fetishes. Also diaper fetishes. Urine fetish etc. Those are not things I am into so it has been a bit frustrating.

True, but if you are not into the hard stuff there are sections that are a little lighter. If you look around you may find something there to interest you...

When I lived in NYC I met a PWD on Fetlife. He went dancing in the Village with me and my boyfriend. We took him home to our place. I wanted to live a little and try new things where he wasn’t restricted by his w/c. He was a regular player of ours for almost three months until he found someone at a play party we took him to. For my PWD friend, he found Fetlife his escape from his w/c. It was a place were his special traits were embraced as a positive. He cuddled with us for hours while we read to him, his cath bag hanging on the side of the platform bed, no problems.

He cuddled with us for hours while we read to him, his cath bag hanging on the side of the platform bed, no problems. lol. Plenty of that mirrors my life as a PWD. :-) I know that "site" in the title means online, but on the odd occasion I attended a physical Vanilla Night Club I was usually the only person in a chair or other obvious PWD. If you can muster the confidence, companionship, or whatever sufficiently high alcohol state might be required, to visit a play type club, especially a Fetish club like the ones we have in London (and that I have attended in New York, Los Angeles, Florida, Munich, Paris etc) then it is nearly guaranteed that you will meet PWD - or Dev, or Dev PWD, depending on what you are looking for - and also find people much more tolerant and understanding. I was almost never the only person in a chair, and there were almost always other PWD in attendance. And for the PWD amongst us you are much likelier to encounter a dev or two. You have NO idea how many girls would just on my lap every night without warning - probably because their feet hurt from dancing and yes there is a lot of dancing at many of these clubs - but I choose to believe it is for a reason that flatters my ego more. :-) A lot of those same people, like me, can be found on Fetlife. Whether you meet them at a club and exchange Fetlife details or meet them on Fetlife and join them at a club, the end result is the same. In fact, confirming what was posted earlier, I just checked Fetlife and there are quite a number of groups relating to both Dev and PWD. Please no Flaming if you think I am trying to say that being a Dev is a Fetish because I do not want to reopen that topic! I am just detailing personal experiences - lots of them. :-)
