Die Toten von Salzburg (spoilers)

I just read that they want to continue the series, but presumably with a new lead actor (can't imagine that this one will also be in a wheelchair...). The most recent episode only has a few scenes with him in it( as his character is in a rehab center) and I know that German television is going to cut these scenes out for the broadcast. The actor has lost all his contracts and his job at the theater with immediate effect, they stopped a movie with him that is currently in the cinemas and I could imagine that the "Toten von Salzburg"-episodes will probably vanish from the Mediathek and other platforms.

Just checked: the episodes are no longer available on the ORF/ Flimmit platform.

that’s bad. I always thought he was a good guy.
And yes, this will pretty sure be the end of one of my favorite shows.
A new detective won’t be as good as him. And as you said, pretty sure not a wheeler also.
