As of right now I'm into gaming and gardening I know those are two different ends of the spectrum but to me I think it's really cool how about the rest of you guys?

Gardening can be very therapeutic! I started collecting carnivorous plants last year. It's helped me stay sane during this pandemic you know I was thinking about picking a couple Venus fly traps up and making a terrarium for them I thought it would be kind of cool to just observe them over time.

Damn I live in Wisconsin so that basically means no Venus fly traps right?

sugarmag what is your favorite sci-fi book, and why is it Dune? Really though, right on. I'm a massive sci-fi fan, which should come as a surprise to no one. It's always exciting to run into another.

Hobbies? Well, I love to read sci fi, fantasy literature, nonfiction, history, and things related to math, physics, space, existentialist philosophy, classical liberalism, and disability rights.
While I can't physically garden, I do enjoy suggesting to my mom, who loves gardening, where to place and grow certain plants, flowers, vegetables, and fruits in our backyard. This year, we had a bumper crop of tomatoes, chili peppers, and eggplants!
I also love to watch movies on Netflix and Prime Video. So far, I've seen Crip Camp and I'm on the third season of Anne with an E on Netflix, while on Prime Video I've just started the first season of Hanna.
In terms of music, I listen to practically anything. While I mainly prefer the genres of classic rock, rock, metal, and alternative, I also listen to a bit of pop, jazz, some R&B, rap, and hip hop, a little country, classical Indian, and Bollywood (Hindi) music.

I garden a lot too. I mostly grow vegetables, herbs, and berries. This year I've had a ton of lemon cucumbers, zucchini, butternut squash, green beans, rhubarb, pumpkin, tomatoes, fava beans, jalapenos, chard, and cabbage. Another related hobby I have is cooking. I'm into music, so I used to go to a lot of concerts and some festivals, and I play the guitar some. I also like reading sci fi and the outdoors. I live in California, so there are a lot of beautiful state and national parks to explore. I like doing various DIY things too, like making beer, or recently hand sanitizer and soap. It might sound stupid but I'm growing vegetables I can pickle or freeze dry and I'm growing teas and medicinal herbs just for their medicinal properties I'm doing all this because I've gotten into apocalyptic prepping.... Yeah I'm a bit paranoid I've been looking into making a raspberry beer trying to make something similar to leinenkugel's Berry Weiss but darker

Getting coffees at cafes actually, gaming, watching tv show and just being active for health reasons. Sounds boring but thats it.

Fishing, photography, creative writing, various sciences, gardening, cooking, food and adult beverage tasting or culinary experiences, going to concerts and sporting events when there isn't a plague, video games, reading both fiction and nonfiction, bird watching, nature hikes, and various collections. I might try making models this winter as I'm sure lockdown will return.

Well I do like science fiction, especially Deep Space 9, TNG and Voyager, not forgetting Star Wars and Buck Rogers. I am lucky to live in the English countryside, so I spend a lot of time in the back garden, assisting my father gardening, well trying to give him advice… and getting told to piss off! Charming isn’t it. I have a passion at the moment for creative writing, script writing, and I used to paint many years ago. When it comes to sports I support Birmingham City, and I love Formula One. Next week is my thirty year anniversary since I broke my neck. Like I was saying this morning to my carer, I am not bitter anymore. I suppose it’s because I was a soldier, and over the years I have seen many of my friends die. Even though these last thirty years have been difficult, a couple of grade fours, I cherish the time I have had. Even though now I can only get up for 4-5 hours a day, it’s been a good life. So that my goal this year is to finish my book, nearly there.
Pete, 👍

That's hard to say for most sci-fi shows which age quickly.

I’ve tried to quote something, and it didn’t work sorry Brace. My mouth stick fell out of my mouth! Anyway I agree deep space nine it’s really good. I bought the box set many years ago, and it had discs with the complete space station on. I never uploaded it as I use an iPad, it would’ve been fun though. I remember at one stage, I had the Ferengi book on the laws of profit etc. In my bedroom I have a signed photograph of the two captains, Kirk and John Luc Picard. Signed photograph of Mulder and Scully. Once I had a uniform, but my belly got too big and I had to throw it away. There was a time when I was going to get a Tardis, but I got told to grow up! I was only 40 at the time 🤣
