I'm really glad you found us and I hope you'll feel like home here, too. If you stick here long enough, this place will help you to accept that dev part of yourself even more (although you seem to be on the right path with it) and get rid of guilt and shame majority of us experience.

How did you find about devs and how did you find the board?

Also, introduction is usually made in "Personal" section, since this one is supposed to be only for devs (I wouldn't swear on anything important to me that boys don't have a peek now and then 😉), so the whole community gets to know you. But this here is also fine, if it makes you more relaxed.

Kahanah I also relate so much to your dev journey. I first started to really accept it about 4 years ago and it's still a process but, it has gotten a lot better, especially just not caring as much what other people think about it. Connecting with PD really was the start of it for me. I am so glad you found us and decided to join

I have to say that the relationship your boyfriend has with his dog pretty much sounds exactly like how I am with my furbabies, so I can provide some insight from the other side. They always come first and that has caused some tension in past relationships before. Of course I do think compromises can be found! I am sorry you're allergic though, that is really tough.

One thing I will ask, you mentioned coming clean with an "unhealthy attraction to PWDs". Do you personally feel it is an unhealthy attraction? Or do you feel that is how others would perceive it?
