Hi everyone.
What a great community you have here.
A little about myself, I’m a para due to spina bifida, which means I’ve been a para my whole life and wheelchair user for all my adult years. I’ve always lived a very active life, and I’ve been an athlete since I was 15 mainly WC racing and basketball, where I was on my national team for some years. I have traveled extensively in Europe, the States and a little bit in Asia, and traveling is still a great passion of mine, though these days I am too busy working and studying to do more than a few months a year any more.
I have had some experience with devs in my life, in fact I’ve dated two (at least only two that I know of.) The first one never acknowledged it, and at the time I hadn’t heard about the phenomenon, so I never asked her, but she had many of the signs, she was really into my crippled legs, massaging my feet was a big turn on for her, and she enjoyed when we were out among other paraplegics and had more than an ordinary genuine interest in it. The second one admitted in the beginning of our relationship that she was a dev but she never really wanted to talk about it, which I had to respect in order for us to have a good relationship. Both of those relationships were brought to a hold because of my moving around the world.
I am really excited to find this group of both SCI guys and women who are attracted to us and who are so open in their discussions – very cool! Where there seems to be room for all kinds of discussions, both related to the life situations of everyone here, the passions of the ladies and to all kinds of other interesting stuff.
I am not sure how much I’ll be posting but you’ll probably hear from me once in awhile when I have something to say to a discussion.
