Hello fellow Wheelers and devo's.
I must admit this has been an eye opening experience to read about the devo's thoughts and fantasies. I mainly believed that the devotees community were mostly men.
Now, from what I read though, most of you are attracted to wheelies who are paralyzed. But I wonder if some of you are attracted to someone who communicates with a sexy computer voice and uses a electric wheelchair?? I enjoy giving rides.. I call it space mountain!

Hey Lygermark and welcome. In answer to your question...over in the devs only section (not that I should be encouraging non-devs to read there!) we have had a discussion and a couple of us have found that the more severe the disability, the more erotic it is.

thanks to all of you that posted the warm welcoming messages.. looking forward to thought-provoking discussions in the future. Claire, do you yourself feel this way about severe disabilities?

Yes, actually I do. I've even entertained fantasies involving speech synthesizers. I've never put it to the test though, to see if the fantasy holds up in real life. And I probably never will, because I'm married to an AB man. But I don't doubt that there are other devs out there who feel the same way...or even non-devs who realize it's not that big of a deal.

they're really getting into it, getting nice and gritty in the devs only section. medora just posted in the 'harder dose' thread that she's turned on by crip suffering(in fantasies). i think that's pretty brave to admit that openly.
it reminds me of my 'tales from the dark side' thread from way back. but then of course, you could post anonymously.

Hehe thanks triassic to post that here in the open forum I think the purpose of the devs only forum was, for us devs to be able to talk privately about exactly this "darker" stuff. (I mean I know, you're of course all reading it anyway, but it's still easier to admit stuff like that if you know you guys can't/won't reply to it) For me personally it's no problem, I'm here to find out more about my devness, not for tiptoeing around and make sure I don't ever offend anyone. But I don't think it makes it easier for other devs to admit something like that if its disscussed here..

Yeah well, if we couldn't admit it openly on this board, where else could we? If a dev has to be ashamed of anything on Paradevo, then something's definitely wrong.. Our devs only section is quite similar to how the general board used to be around the days of the thread you mentioned. Back then Medora's post would have been very "normal".

please note, medora; i was not the one who first mentioned the discussions ongoing in the 'devs only' section. i figured that since a dev brought up 'devs only' on this thread, it was ok.
i wouldnt have otherwise done so.

"The first rule of Devs Only is no one talks about Devs Only."

Ha, funny. Although the correct version would be "You do not talk about Devs Only". Anyway, I'm sure that's absolutely not what Medora meant. All she said was that some female members could be intimidated by you guys' comments about some dark confessions. Whether the rule above really is a realistic option, though... I doubt it. In my opinion it already helps a lot that you're not allowed to post in our dev section itself. But the rest of the boards is a free world, so who ever has a question or a comment full of praise about Devs Only, is free to speak...

ah...it was a paraphrase of a quote from Fight Club, cake. ok, how about this; 'what happens in Devs Only...stays in Devs Only.'
