A gorgeous photo! You are a lovely woman. Ballet is a highly athletic endeavor for anyone to pursue. All dance is highly athletic. Wow, mom, dance, graduate studies, you are a busy woman, glad to have you on the board. I am a jazz musician, and composer, so I appreciate anyone that is serious about active participation in any art form. As you have or will see, there are a number of people here that are highly artistic. At present most of my time is spent in arranging and composing. At present, given the pandemic, I am not seeking to perform. Also, performing using a chair is it best a pain in the ass. Clubs and chairs do not mix easily. Also, considering my forced relocation to Daytona Beach-lived my entire life in DC-there is very little community, or audience for jazz. My 24x7 “job” if you will, is caring for my 93 yr old mother. Mom has dementia and her care is quite challenging. So, just a short introduction, I look forward to reading your input, and if you happen to post another photo, that would be nice as well.I am sure you already have a number of “fans” here, LOL, count me as one. Pretty you're dancing ballet as job? Thanks! 😊 The ballet photo is from when I was performing in a pre-professional company before I had kids. I taught ballet for many years, but now I’m a school teacher. |

don't give up your love of dance!
I am a PWD (wheelchair man). I have never danced and I will never dance, but I love modern dance very much (I love Moses Pendleton, David Parson, Daniel Ezralow) to the point that in my next life, if I had another one, I would like to be reborn as a woman to learn how to dance tango or to be part of the MOMIX company.
So please never stop using your wings to dance and fly at high altitude !!!
Do it for yourself and also a little for me, who can't get away from the ground if not just with the thought.

Hello Curious Cat? Unfortunately I cannot dance, not because I have been in a wheelchair for 30 years, but before that I was no Michael Jackson. Or in your case Nijinsky 👍 I have never been to the ballet, although I did find Billy Elliot a good film. Is it true that they start off young, so they can manipulate the bones, like a Shaolin Monk? Stretching them on the bar et cetera. Anyway I finally get round to saying hello, hope you’re well?
