Since r/disability on Reddit was such a dumb place to post for feedback on designs for shirts I figured I'd share some designs I'm working on here and ask PWDs and devs alike, for honest feedback. I'll start with these: I came up with the idea of "I'm not disabled, I'm just complicated" the other night and thought it was pretty funny, so why not make it into a shirt graphic.

First one looks nice, second I think the colors make it hard to read the words.
I’d not wear these shirts unless I got my hands on it for free (I’m somewhat cheap), but the first one does look nice.

I wanted to share for feedback. I've been thinking about how success isn't always1 size fits all. It's been brought up a lot on this forum but it's something I keep coming back to. I just feel a lot better when I don't hold the pressure of needing to conform to one form of success. I've noticed my girlfriend become quite anxious because she's worried she's not going to succeed the way she's supposed to. I don't think we shouldn't aspire to do great things in our life, I just don't think we should beat ourselves up if we're not achieving those things as fast as we think we're supposed to. On the other end, when you're dealing with chronic illness, sometimes it's ok to just get through the day and call it a success. Anyway, those are my thoughts. Hope you like the art!

I like the idea of "relative" rather than "absolute" success, and try to preach it to people in my life who expect way too much from themselves (and are miserable as a result). A lot of people in difficult circumstances expect to perform at the same level as people without those circumstances, and it's not always a fair thing to ask of yourself. Accepting your limitations and trying to work with them, rather than against them, can be a very good tactic.

I would argue that back though and say the goal of success is pretty much always the same but the journey on how we achieve it is relative (we pretty much all want to feel fulfilled as much as possible but that means different things for different people eg work success, having good relationships etc
