Joe Rogan has gone off the deep end, but not surprisingly, I might add. Journalist? Nah, but I think the Mises Caucus would probably welcome him with open arms.

my very first podcast I listened to was "ESL podcast" hosted by Dr Jeff Mcquillan maybe fifteen years ago. I loved to learn English with his story´s about daily life and culture in the English speaking world.
Nowadays I often listen to "The Daily" from The New York Times. Because German is my mother tongue most podcasts I listen to are German.
in recent times I followed virologists who talk about the pandemic. I also like a legal podcast and I like topics like dating, psychology, sience, sexuality or politics.
I think there are too many crime podcasts on the market. Sometimes they are exciting but the more I hear , the less interresting they become to me.

Anybody heard of The Bitchuation Room? I just started listening to it and feeling very addicted. It’s discussion of current events with an enjoyable host and thoughtful guest. Leftist slant.

Bump, does anyone have any more recommendations? Right now I am listening to:
-Ologies with Alie Ward: was recommended by someone above and I’ve been listening since then. Host is a treasure of a human who interviews scientists.
-They Tried to Bury Us: I don’t remember how I found this one, but an Egyptian immigrant interviews other immigrants to hear their stories. The podcast was abandoned second season unfortunately, but what is there is good.
-Ezra Klein: Journalist interviews people on current events, etc

I have been really into “Huberman Lab” lately. His clear and approachable, without being dumbed down, explorations on the human body (mainly neuroscience) is right up my alley. Two hours on how alcohol affects our body or the benefits of cold/heat therapy? Yes please!

I’m obsessed with Lex Friedman podcast but they are loooong. Have to break them up a bit Inspired by your post, I was listening to the one Lex recorded about Russia and Putin with a historian (I love history). It was super interesting but, indeed, quite longish and 'dense' - I had to pause time to time to just digest what was discussed
I love Dr. Kat's 'Reading the Past' channel and last year she did a lecture on the Warrior Queen (Katherine of Aragon):

I'm still listening to all the same ones I listed before. Mission to Zyxx and Wooden Overcoats both had their finales, so good. The guys who made Gay Future did another short fiction series called Who Killed Avril Lavigne that was super fun.
Lately I've added Crowley Time, Decoder Ring, and The Retrospectors. Ghost Church by Jamie Loftus is the best limited series I've listened to lately, and the follow up she did on Behind the Bastards about Helena Blavatsky was amazing.

I'm reviving this to tell y'all about Tooth and Claw, my latest favorite podcast. It's all about animal attacks and animal biology. They have episodes on everything from spider bites to tiger attacks and of course...Harambe. 11/10, must listen.

The new fad of sitcoms (mainly from the 90s) hasn't struck my fancy like I thought it would. It's kinda hard to recap old episodes in verbal form without the visual. It must be popular though with a large demographic, because they're popping up everywhere.
