I'm really not a fan of fast food at all, lol I only eat at McDonald's and stuff like that like maybe once a year or once every half year, like when I'm drunk, lmao. The only take-away my family ever gets is pizza, lol Though even that is seldom, 'cause we usually make the pizza's ourselves ;D However, I DO love potato chips too! Especially eating salty potato chips and dark chocolate with mint on the inside, together.. If you haven't tried that... then DO it!!

That's strange, I know a Filipina that LOVES a bag of chips, too...sheesh, never realized it was Asian obsession. I gotta start trying better coffee...ones with trees painted in them! ; ) It's a Filipina thing,I know one that can eat a bag of crisps after a full scale dinner AND dessert . ;D You should see the desserts they eat too,a piece of originality, somewhat like Bananas coffee creations. This has to be the best off-topic thread Paradevo has created for a while??

Now I didn't damn fast-food to some abyssmal pit; it has it's place. Pizza Hut is a sad excuse for real pizza though. McDonald's fries can work some magic over me though; I hardly go there to actually eat, but I'll be lured by the fries...they're a close cousin to chips/crisps, so that's probably why. Bananas, my mother and I are the same way! We're known to be snackers - eat something, and then shortly thereafter we're onto something else! (After-dinner chocolate mints are indeed awesomeness lol - I remember eating at a restaurant when I was younger and instead of dessert, all I wanted was a bunch of the chocolate mints! )

As fast food goes, I dig Steak n Shake and Wendy's....and I agree, what a great off-topic thread!! Food is the universal language. lol BTW, I just had my Dunkin Donuts coffee, and there wasn't any pretty drawing in it, but it sure did hit the spot. ; )

McD's fries used to be killer back when they used that artery-blocker tallow fat. Now, they're "safer" but not quite safe or as good. You gotta eat them when they're hot, though, tallow or not. I can't remember the last time I ate Mickey D's. Maybe 18 months?

I was recently told that I'm a food snob -- and I can't really disagree -- but I gotta say... if I'm forced to eat fast food... the Frisco Melt really sizzles my butter.

So for tea tonight,
steamed chicken breast rubbed with salt, ginger and garlic on a bed of wilted spinach dressed in fresh lemon juice...
