I am a total novice at up- and downloading. Is there any risk downloading on Megaupload? Is it free? Must I create an account? No risk Dee. It's my file there, which was (according to my computer) free from any hazards. You don't need an account. Just press 'normal download' (comes up after a 45 secs wait). It's a .avi file which usually playes with for example windows media player or you can get the VLC-player for free (that one plays all sorts of different video files). Have fun watching .

Cristabell, for your questions on Write Man for Her, my interview is going up on my website in a few minutes, you could ask in the comments and the author herself might answer! I assume she'll go take a look when I put it up. I also have a thing for the dark, brooding, emotionally stunted heroes! lol. Devogirl will tell you. Definitely when I wrote (W)hole, Stewart was my ideal guy. I was so drawn to that, both in fiction and real life. Now I've grown up a lot and I'm much more interested in nice, open, honest and sweet guys! I'll always love Stewart, though, he is terribly special to me.. Who says dark and brooding don't get along with nice and honest? Lol:D Me, as an extrovert, I find something so SO sexy about an unsure-of-himself-introvert. Read the interview! It;s so great to be able to reach the authors! My only question is about a certain ..ability of para guys (feeling, not functional) described in both stories (The Write Man and Equal Opp), so there's not anything in particular I'd like to ask Mrs. Bos. Looking forward to chatting about both books, though. And - does anyone know where in the world I can purcase A Man Like Mac online? Shipping will take forever and I'm soo used to eBooks...

Ah, I see. Well, there is a standard ignoring of the realities of SCI when it comes to sexual function, etc. that goes on in books. I think why they do it is so that AB readers who are not familiar with SCI are not even more horrified to realize the lack of feeling. I'm of two minds about this convention in writing. On the one hand it seems like a good idea to have a very inclusive, we're all the same feel. So the characters always insist that everything is totally normal and functioning in that area. The other hand is that this convention might lead people to expect everything to work the same in that area when they actually do decide to give a para guy a chance. In reality, my experience has been that some guys have feeling and others don't. Every SCI is so individual. The ones that have feeling have usually been very low level injuries or incomplete injuries, though. This is a question for the boys, not for the authors of books, that's for sure! lol.

Val, with your scandinavian background, I think it has to be understandable. A question as well to you Val or any other computer nerd (and I mean that in the nicest way , just love those nerds ;D). Do you know how I could get a DVD downloaded to my computer... and maybe change it into an .avi file... I found an old DVD of a very nice movie (no spoilers yet,,, incase I can't get it to work).

I watched it last night. I thought the love story was a bit 'meh'. But it was ok.
i loved some of the comments, when his doctor friend brings him to the hospital, the nurse goes; He might not make it, are you prepared for that? and he sais "how the f*** am I supposed to be prepared for that?!
I didnt like how her friends treated her, but she never explained to them why she was upset, late to work etc.

I looked through a few pages in the devs only and couldn't find a thread about newly discovered books, or even old but good books so created a new one. I came across this tonight and haven't read it but its just $0.99 for the avid readers here. www.robynbradley.com/nook-kindle-short-stories-online/When Koty’s husband volunteers her to visit Jamie, a quadruple amputee who lost his limbs while serving in Iraq, neither Koty nor Jamie is happy. Jamie resents being “babysat” every day. Koty resents her lot in life: almost 30, mother of four, married to an abusive alcoholic. But in one pivotal moment that brings Koty and Jamie together in a sexually-charged situation, all that changes. The author of this story has agreed to be interviewed on my blog! I haven't read it yet, but I'm going to do that tonight and come up with questions. Apparently she's expanding the story into a full length book, so I'll ask her about that too.
