A guy has to eat. I love a good steak. That should be added to my list of things that make me happy. Medium rare elk steak on the BBQ. Baby potatoes ( I killed em myself) Fresh carrots. Mmmm I'm. Pretty happy, How about you wonk? What kind of things make you a happy person? Does processed sandwich meat do anything for you? Gut rot in a bag is great hey? A nice greasy burger from the burger joint along with a side of fries.... Yum I'll take 1200 calories to go..... Perhaps I should change my avatar to something more appropriate to my desire for killing things. Anyone want to see a new photo from the field? Seriously. Don't judge me. I thought this was a place where no one got judged for their lifestyle. I won't judge any of you ladies, or gay guys. Don't judge me for the way I was raised. Sorry for the derail to the op. Carry on

It was a pi$$-take, as the way it was written it was killing things that brought you happiness. I am fairly sure this is not what you meant. I have worked in an abattoir during Uni holidays so I definitely respect the rights of people to eat whatever they want.
If however you really do enjoy killing animals just for fun, then I will judge you. It is an area many disagree on.
On a lighter note.
A guy goes to court for eating a platypus (a protected animal) the judge is about to throw the book at him, and asks does he have an excuse. He replies " I was out fishing and I had no food, and a big fish pulled my rod out of my hand, as i tried to grab it I slipped on the bank and landed on the platypus killing it. As I had no food and it was already dead, I saw no harm in eating it. That is when the ranger arrived" The judge agrees this is a reasonable explanation and dismisses the case. As the guy is leaving, the judge asks "so what does platypus taste like?" The guy replies "Sort of a cross between a Koala and a dolphin"

I have a very simple view about happiness…if ur not enjoying the ride, then your losing the game. Now, that doesn't mean every minute is big smiles…but in the big picture, you have to be able to say you're enjoying it, despite the struggles. And i have to tell you youngsters, as you get older, the price of living goes up. Things do change…more aches n pains, less enthusiasm to fight da world, tummy gets bigger, etc.

For me there´s (at least) 2 kinds of happines. You have the physical happiness i can get from awesome food, awesome sex or that kind of stuff. Then there is the mental happiness from for example hanging out with your best friend all day and just talk or doing something really creative.

Lots of things make me happy. The top ones are music, sports, being outside enjoying a sunny day, friends and family, dogs, good food etc.
I can't remember the last time I was sad without being at a funeral.

Getting good feedback from a renowned artist, animator or film maker. Seeing my hard work pay off.
High energy concerts.
Looking at the stars and watching fireflies on a warm summer night.
Playing video games with my nephews. Playing dolls with my niece.
Family time at Christmas.
Chillin with my wheeler homie.
Meeting new people.
Being outside during summer.
Fireworks are awesome. so are bonfires.

Going to cinco de mayo fest with niece…happy! Sorry... it is an OT question: The "cinco de mayo" is about the Battle of Puebla? if it is so... why is it so celebrated in US?

Going to cinco de mayo fest with niece…happy! Sorry... it is an OT question: The "cinco de mayo" is about the Battle of Puebla? if it is so... why is it so celebrated in US? According to Wikipedia, the defeat of the French at the Battle of Pueblo prevented the French from using Mexico as a base while backing the Confederates during the US Civil War at a time when that kind of support might have made a difference in the outcome of the war. (Or something like that. Breaking blockades, blah, blah, blah.) I think most here just celebrate it as Margarita day. (Thinking that it's the Mexican Independence Day, because they don't cover it in school.)
