Ok so I was thinking about this as I was getting dinner ready to go in the oven today. Who here likes to cook. And what do you like making. And if you don't what would you like to know or ask us Guys that do so you can too!! I've got a good process down for getting things in and out of the oven and on and off the stove. Hot or cold. Today's I'm making a roast. I cut up all the veggies. And brined the roast for 5 hours. And let the veggies marinate in the dry seasoning in a bowl in the fridge for 2. Preheat the oven. Then pull out the rack. Get my stoneware dish put it on the oven rack Put the cutting board on my lap. Put the meat on the board. Roll to the oven put the meat in the middle of the dish. Get the veggies. Situate them around the meat in the dish. Get a measuring cup add a 1/2 cup of the brine water. Cover with the lid I have for the dish. Push oven rack in with potholder and then I set the timer. When its done getting it out is the trick part lol. That just takes practice and good angles and a couple layers of pot holdersand a towel on my legas. ohh yeah

I'm a great cook, except mostly I hate to do it. Especially on the daily. Luckily, my husband not only loves to cook, he's great at it. I'm a HUGE fan of paras in the kitchen. thats awesome . i like the idea of some shared kitchen responsibility. one cooks the other cleans. thats how it was with me and my ex. she didnt do so well in the cooking department lol. i think she may have actually burned water once. . we cooked like at least 3 or 4 times a week. id rather cook anyhow. my arms get tired washing dishes. lol

I'm more than happy to do clean up. We share most tasks, so housekeeping is not the chore (when we are together) that it was when I was single. When it comes to the BIG meals (holidays, etc.) I LOVE to cook. I'm a great baker, too. I make a killer pie crust! But the daily grind of chopping, dicing, steaming, etc. is just not something I enjoy. i do love baking as well. still figuring out the pie crust thing. im just to OCD for my own good. lol. it just never seems to come out right to me. even if someone says that its good. lol. id love to know how you do your pie crust , see if its similar. but yeah any time i get to use my knives in the kitchen is a good day to me. =)

I love cooking but like lucretia I don't like it as a daily duty. I also like baking but unfortunately don't have an oven. :-( I try to compensate with all sorts of puddings / desserts like Tiramisu or Panna Cotta...

I also like baking but unfortunately don't have an oven. :-( I try to compensate with all sorts of puddings / desserts like Tiramisu or Panna Cotta... i dont think i have ever thought of cooking as a duty. i am cooking at least one meal a day. other than that its sandwiches. or other things that dont involve the stove or oven. if i really want to ill make something that i will be able to eat for 2 or 3 days. a large stew or a large roast or turkey or a whole chicken or soup things i can re heat and make into meals that will take only 15 min max to prepare. most anything i do for myself i make in 30 min or less. almost anything i take pics of on my IG (instagram). which is Mike Fatty btw... is made in 30 min. or less. hehe. and it can be enough for 3 people usually. once every 2 months me and my mom make a big pot of spaghetti sauce. or Gravy as some call it. depends on your lineage. lol. and well freeze most of it in portion sizes of like 3 or 4 cups . on a day we know we will use it well put it in the fridge. im all about meal planning =) i love it. to me its fun. even when i was dooing it for a really long time consistently. cooking for 3 is not so bad. and i know it might be different if i have kids in the future. but i dont think i will ever look at as a duty hehe =) also i am really sorry to hear you dont have an oven =(

I like cooking because I love good food. My bf occasionally cuts vegetables, otherwise he can't help much. His kitchen needs to be more adapted. Are there any quads who cook?

I like cooking, too, at least theoretically. I had cooking in school as a subject and I loved it as child. It might sound funny, but I really enjoy watching cooking shows. I find them quite relaxing and inspiring, especially in the morning with my coffee Obviously, I can't cook without help but with friends or my PAs it works quite nice. I experiended I mostly enjoy it when the one I'm cooking with is not perfect in cooking herself but relies on my "commands". On the other hand if her cooking skills are too poor, it's hard to lead. So it must be a mixture. Regarding what I like to cook, I'm not really specialized. I like to be creative and experiment a lot. I love sauces and fish. And potatoes. Ah, actually, I love everything tasty and with many calories (which is good for me)
