To all lovers of classical music:
It’s been quite a while since I discovered the special beauty in the voices of counter tenors. Someone once explained to me the reason why the voices of these singers (males whose vocal range is equivalent to that of the female contralto or mezzo-soprano voice types) have this special character of pureness that a female grown up singer would never reach. It has to do with the position or the development of the larynx, I don’t really know. But I do enjoy a lot the sound of it and wanted to share this beautiful piece by Vivaldi, sung by the (extremely hot) polish counter tenor Jakub Józef Orliński:
And one more piece that I can’t stop listen to, this time sung by the female soprano Simone Kermes, Purcell‘s „Dido‘s lament“:

I have to add this one, it’s just too beautiful to not share. It’s „Sovente di Solo“ by Vivaldi, sung by one of the most famous countertenors Philippe Jaroussky. I heard him once life in a concert. Divine music.

I see some people are rocking out over here...right on...😉 feelsunshine "Evolution" has some more of a mellow sound to it, but it's good When I bought my last car, two years ago, and we sat in the car checking out the inside, my first question to the salesman was "Where is the CD player"...he looked at me confused and explained to me that most new cars do not have a CD player anymore. I have lots of CD's still and basically now can't listen to them in my car anymore. It is okay though because I have Bluetooth and I have to say, I love that I can listen to all my favorite play lists or my German radio station any time I like in the car. So yeah, I broke with the old and adapted to the new...my car in itself is all manual though, like even the windows, door locks, everything...lol

Probably not mine... 😂 One thing that is so great about PD is the diversity.

Dani, if you don't know it yet, you should certainly check out "Regenbogen 2" www.regenbogen.de/webradio/radio-regenbogen-2There might be better rocking radio stations though but I mostly only listen to the radio in the car and that's the best radio station I actually receive sometimes (when I leave my "Odenwald mountain area") LOL Majority of the time I actually have my songs playing via bluetooth though. My car still has a CD player and I would certainly miss it if it wasn't there.

I used to listen to FFH, then sometines Radio Gong, or Antenne Bayern... Radio stations over here annoy me, playing the same bla over and over again. If I listen to any station here, it's 107.7, Seattle alternative
