When I look from this perspective, I never planned and imagined that my life will be like it is right now, not in my wildest dreams. Many things I planned and worked hard on never came to be true. On the other hand, some other things just happened, accidentally, out of nowhere, developed without any plan and came to be the best things ever happened, that led my life into some completely different direction. Hobby of mine, brought me world success and recognition in the field, although it was never my intention nor plan. I was just doing the best I knew, something I enjoy with all my heart... Therefore I have to define myself as a person who has some blurry vision of the final destination, but is not so strictly focused on it, I rather enjoy the road, wherever it leads me... There is one thing that is definitely part of my plan and I think I will have to work on it harder, kids. Somehow I always thought I had time and I was waiting for The Right One, that I would be willing to “breed”. But now approaching 40, I realize my biological clock is ticking, there is not much more time to loose and when it comes to a “stud”, I'll have to make compromises. Soon! Yeah me too, I never imagined I'll be in my current position in life, a lot of things change dramatically in a couple of years that you can never imagine happening. and don't forget, adoption is always an option, I know it's not the same as having your own kids but it's a compromise

Endgame has always stayed the same.. it was the steps getting there that have changed, evolved, and are fluid.... so.. 1. Find most amazing woman in the world.... CHECK 2. DO NOT fuck it up... PENDING but working on it 3. Start family 3-5 kids.... she laughs and says... if you want more than 3 you'll have to looking at a divorce and move on to your second wife... (maybe she doesn't remember that she would BE the second wife. LOL) 4. Become a college professor... working on it... want to finish accomplishing other goals before I retire into my retirement dream job. it sounds like you're already half way there, just keep it up and don't fuck it up! lol

My plan is to ultimately become a teacher (possibly a travelling one) but only after seeing a large portion of the world. I love to travel more than anything else and so I'd like to teach in a number of different countries, then perhaps pick one of those countries to settle down in! Right now, it's looking like Germany, but we'll have to see more before I can make a solid decision though! teaching English in third world countries seems like the best option for traveling to multiple countries, good luck man, I hope you the best

letstrythis , interesting question! And I would be curious to know what it is that you want to do but don't know how to achieve! So, I remember we talked about this question in school when we were about 14. Our teacher wanted us to imagine we are in an elevator that takes us to our older selves. She asked us to close our eyes and push one button in that imaginary elevator. The numbers on the buttons would indicate how old our future self would be. I chose 36. I saw myself living in a big sunny house with light wooden floors, surrounded by a wood. There were two blonde boys running around. And I worked on a desk at home as a writer. I am 38 and have a cool job that I didn't even know existed when I was 14. I don't live in a big house but in a cozy appartment in a lively neighbourhood in one of the world's most interesting cities. Money is not as important here as it is in most capitals. People are open-minded. I have two smart and funny girls. My husband brings me coffee to bed every morning. I must say my life feels much better than I ever could have imagined. And what makes it so good are just the little things. I feel very blessed. I don't have any big goals, no end game to prepare for. I just want to keep the ability to appreciate what I have. what I want to achieve is to move out of my current city to somewhere in Europe, maybe the Netherlands, and get an apartment in the middle of the city, be independent < this part is almost impossible because I always need someone with me.

I'll borrow mona 's elevator idea. I press 40. I'm an accomplished surgeon, I work more hours than I'm legally allowed to, I don't sleep well or eat well, but I work really hard. The exhaustion is a boost, I love getting my hands dirty, I drink too much coffee, I satisfy my sexual needs with that handsome plastics attending. I'm satisfied. Probably pregnant with twins, maybe triplets, thanks to IVF procedures. After the babies are born, I'll take some time to admire the nature of creation. I won't put up that many hours anymore, I'll probably move to a private practice office, where I can work my own hours and give my children attention. We'll travel twice a year. I'm happy. Pregnant again, or adopting. I'll raise the kids as upstanding citizens of this nation. Whatever they decide to do with their lives, they'll do it with integrity, and they'll make this country a better place through their own hard work. I die at age 70 with whatever autoimmune disease strikes first, I've left a legacy behind me, I'm happy and proud. I was useful. Endgame. 'Till next time, Earth LOL Now I work to get there. nice plan, although the surgeon part is scary because I have a hospital phobia

My end game is being a published author and living off those earnings. First part done, ehhh... Working on the second part LOL I want to travel the world and take my family with me. While I've seen some of northern Europe and some of Italy, I have a lot still to see. Two of my daughters have been to Denmark and Sweden with me, but again, still more to do. I also want to be able to volunteer more in my community. My youngest daughter and I do a bit, she more than I, but I'd like to do more. As a successful writer, I'd have more time for my family, community and travel. Basically that's all I want. could you share some of the things you write

Some day, I'd like to live on a Caribbean island, grow biodynamic-organic bananas and smoke a ton of pot every day.

I'd like to get one of my novels published this year. That's one of my *specific* goals for the year. If I end up on the NYT best seller list, I'll let you all know.

Wow, I guess I'm living the dream All I can say is start saving money now because that dream ain't cheap, also freeze your eggs before age 26 because the chances of getting pregnant over 40 with IVF are like 1%.
