Her reaction was uncalled for sure, but on the other hand I can't help but wonder what her reaction would've been if the subject was presented a little less in-depth. Not a critiscism at all by the way, just a thought. Like I said, her reaction would not be one I'd expect from an adult. Welcome to PD. You certainly strike me as someone with a lot to say so stick around.

@mrniceguy, you should invest in a blow drier and use it on the low heat or no heat setting. It works real good for drying those areas.

And not to be too graphic but I kinda need my hands. I'm definitely a "grower" and not a "shower" if you catch my drift so even with thorough washing, there's some surface area that doesn't get the best cleaning. I try to take care of that and need my hands to do it.

Penis size doesn't make a difference, you can just set the dryer down somewhere and use both hands. It seems to me that the additional drying can also the areas that cannot get fully cleaned, since you are removing moisture.

I don't think I explained myself very well so I'll try again. I lie in bed after being toweled off. I have my ceiling fan on and my legs spread open to air dry that area thoroughly. Because I'm generally not erect when I wash/dry, some of that skin doesn't get the air, along with some folds of skin. Since I can't just get it up on demand, I use my hands to stretch it out and move things around.

He is saying put the blow dryer down on the bed pointed at your junk and use your hands to move said junk around to make sure all areas get exposed to the blow flow. I had a c-section and used the blow dryer to dry my incision after showering. Works real good!

Not if it's on the no heat setting. Don't wanna burn your balls!

I'm not sure this girl is necessarily immature. If she doesn't know anything about SCI then her reaction (which apparently was more of a facial expression badly disguised than verbal, please correct me if I interpreted the OP wrong) is quite natural. Since I'm not a SCI dev and I know very little about SCI, I guess in the same situation I would have to really strain my facial muscles to hide the surprise and a fair share of disgust, because I'm squeamish af. I can deal with lots of gross things (I work with children; not babies though) but not poo. Maybe that makes me immature, I don't know. Many devs have said bowel related stuff is neither a turn-on nor a turn-off. I think it's definitely a turn-off for me and I'd rather not know about the details and not be involved. Now I'm kind of ashamed because I feel like that makes me a shitty person (no pun intended)

Weirdly, for me, bowel & bladder issues can be both a turn on *and* a turn off. So it would very much depend on which side won out in the moment.
But I'd definitely try not to have too obvious of a negative reaction. And I know enough about SCIs that it wouldn't come as a big surprise if a guy with an SCI said he had bowel/bladder issues. From what I understand it's more unusual *not* to have those issues with an SCI.

Me neither. As I bump along in my marriage, it's one of the top 10 (I'm guessing at the #, it could even be in the top 5) reasons I'm struggling.

I'm just really curious. Is that a seperate fetish? or do you think its part of your devness?
