Hey guys: I was wondering just for curiosity what you think about the dancing subject.... this is the thing, my ex boyfriend told me that he believed that hes dancing years were over when he had hes accident a few years ago because he felt ridiculous in the dance floor.... He would do some crazy moves sometimes in random places like supermarkets and told me he was dancing, but just to make me laugh ;D........ I told him that it was ok and tried to make him danced with me a few times at bars, but he just wont do it..... even though he was totally comfortable doing a lot of things, in that area he just stop doing it....
I actually met this hot wheeler last year at a bar because a common friend introduced us, we hit it on immediately because he was hot and fun..lol... we started talking and before we knew we started dancing from 12am until 4am non stopping!!! it was crazy!!!,people will stare at us but I had soooo much fun and I was soooo turned on because the whole dancing thing i founded incredible sexy.....After that, we dated for 2 months and still remain friends......
So, what u think guys..Its ok to dance and have fun or u leave that for other people?......

Put some drinks in my hand and a hottie on my lap and I'll dance all night.

Dancing is no different from before. I only would dance to get a women naked. And now, if the possibility of getting a women naked required dancing. I am game. I don't care what other people think.

I'm normally too self conscious to shake it on the dance floor but a lethal combination of scantily clad hotties and tequila shots/beer chasers have worked together to overcome sensible behavior in my past history. Another time many moons ago, my GF (at the time) and I found ourselves partying at a Holiday Inn in Golden Colorado. The gin & tonics were terrific and then they announced that they were having a dance contest. We of course won the contest (because we were good) but my victory G & T slipped out of my quad hand and shattered on the floor and they had the audacity to cut me off. The bastards had no sense of humor...of course my GF just ordered two for "herself" at the bar so I wasn't thirsty for very long.

Yeah in the long run I'm probably hurting myself, but I pretty much will not dance...I know I would look like a fool and I disgust myself with the thought of myself dancing...*shudder*

I love to dance. Drunk or sober. Had a couple women take me out for my birthday. Had a blast.

Grrrrrr, in the early years after my accident I was persuaded onto the dance floor for some rockin, but never do it now. It's kinda funny, but last year I'm sitting (of course) with some buddies watching my buddy's band play. This girl picks ME to dance out of he group. I turned it down politely, but thought it was funny that she'd pick the dude in a chair to dance instead of my AB guy-friends. I just don't like drawing attention to myself, however, if I was with the right chick, there's no limits.

I have yet to try in my power chair, but maybe I will. It's just that ever since I ran into some problems and lost the ability to push a manual chair I never really thought about it. I guess I thought it would be kind of silly and embarrassing. But, come to think of it, dancing generally is kind of silly and embarrassing, wheelchair or not! Thus the alcohol, I guess... Besides, you can't argue with the fact that hitting the dance floor is one of the best ways to meet chicks! I'm glad you brought it up Natasha. Next time I go out I just may rip it up. I'll have to practice some moves in private first...

I haven't danced in years. I am glad so many of you are willing dancers. Mr. AB wouldn't dance if you paid him. In fact, I never saw him dance, drunk or sober. I love to dance. I grew up in the 1980's and spent so many years in dance clubs anyway. Glad to hear so many of you like to get out there and shake your stuff.

Almost sure it is..you're doing the YMCA song, right???..lol....classic.... ;D ..I know a lot of AB people that of course wont dance no matter what!!..Its all about self confidence and not to care about what other think, so cool that most of u just don't give a damn....
