I am matisse from newmobility.com. Some chick with long hair is posting over there as one of the elusive female devos and mentioned this site. Seemed lame until she said she was a nudist and hot.
I am hot too. I am also smart and good looking. I am also a little bit tipsy or I probably would not be posting here. I am sitting at a bar at Isla restaurant at Trreasure Island in Las Vegas. I have wireless EVDO. I came here for Halloween weekend for some fun.
I am married so unavailable. But feel free to lust after me. If you saw me at the mall or transferring from my chair to my minivan seat, you would get hot.

I'm glad I quit drinking about the same time I started going online. Seems fortunate.

Ahhhh, fear not Matisse. Some of us are married too. What are you doing drunk in Vegas without the wife? Shame, shame, shame.
PS. Which of you lovely ladies is recruiting from New Mobility? You Vampire, you!
(of course, it's not that Paul, Sid, Carp, Tri et. all aren't enough for us.... but hooray for the injection of some new blood! I am always thirsty!)

Welcome Matisse. Glad to have you around.
Is there still a community over at NM? I haven't visited it in years. When Barry Corbet left us, the place changed. Almost overnight it became most inaccessible.
Hey don't leave out Devboy. He is the best dressed after all.

Haven't heard from Lisa, LadyLuvs or princess in a while...
Yknow, I can't be sure but it seems that there is now less guilt, self-chastisement, anxiety, etc from the ladies posting here than there was even 6 mo. ago.

I chat with Lisa from time to time. She's been really busy. LLP I haven't seen in awhile. Wonder if everything's ok.
Who is Barry Corbet btw?

He was part of the very first American team to summit Everest. That was way back in 1963 when you had to walk all the way into the place. About five years later, he was in an helicopter crash while doing some back county work. The crash left him paralyzed. Eventually he returned to the great outdoors, and returned to his kayaking skills. In time he came to be the managing editor of New Mobility magazine. He left us last year. He is missed.

Yep, there is still a community over at New Mobility. It's not like the "good ole days" but it never is. Personally I think it's easy to look back and remember only the good stuff.
Anyways, I don't post as much anymore, but I do try to help people out when they ask Qs and also post in the sex forum of course.
In answer to AB's Q, I go to Vegas several times a year, sometimes with family sometimes without. This isn't exactly pool season right now, so one of the main kids activities is absent.

Thanks for the clue in Carp. I have heard of New Mobility, the magazine, but didn't know who founded it or anything. How did Corbet die? Was it recent? Seems like he meant alot to the sci community. Sorry for the loss.

Welcome, Matisse. I hope you find us interesting and worth getting to know. Triassic, sorry to disappoint. As AB mentioned, I have been preoccupied. But now that my potentially fantasy-fulfilling online relationship has crashed and burned, you will see more of me again. With a lot less guilt, thanks to recent experience.

Poor Lisa. Just wasn't the right person Lis. When it's meant to be, it will be. Think you need someone pretty secure and more outgoing? Lis, had no idea you were legally blind. Good for you with all the stuff you do... full-time work etc., etc.

He left us quietly, at home. Actually i know more about him from his mountaineering days. He has two Hubbard medals from the National Geographic Society. He is a good buddhist. A fine kayaker.
Yes, his works since his accident have been very important.

Ahem.... <swallows pride> He lost interest. He stopped contacting me and didn't respond when I reached out to ask what had happened.
Oh well. That's life. Just means I have to create a new fictional character to entertain my devo-ness. Too bad there won't be a real guy on the receiving end.
So be warned, O Paradevo fiction readers: there will be a new Lisa S. sappy romance coming to the fiction page near you.
BUAHHAHAHA!
