Lol. I have a dog and she is a handful! I'm thinking about trying to foster puppies being raised to be helper dogs.

Lol. I have a dog and she is a handful! I'm thinking about trying to foster puppies being raised to be helper dogs. I have a few friends who have done that and they all really enjoyed their time with the dogs and said it was really rewarding work. Personally, I don't think I would be able to give the animal back after 1 year-18 months. Two of my fur-balls were only supposed to be "temporary" - I agreed to watch them while a persnickety co-worker was preggers - and now there is NO WAY I could give them up. (I lucked out a lot and the co-worker ended up not being able to take them back so it worked out  .) |

Yeah, that is my only worry. But I'm hoping that since I already have one dog that will ease the difficulty of letting go of them. Plus I'll know that they're going on to do good things with their lives, while Thea's only job is to cuddle with me at night.

Another one of my best friends just got engaged!!! Gah!!! Only one left.... and my sister.  On a side note... being a horseback rider and an appreciator of fine manflesh, I came across this pic of a friend of mine from highschool and just had to share... Not dev-related, but sometimes exceptions must be made.   |

Another one of my best friends just got engaged!!! Gah!!! Only one left.... and my sister. Not dev-related, but sometimes exceptions must be made. "Rules" were made to be broken  but I was just reading an article about Hippotherapy and am not above pretending.  |

Hippotherapy is AWESOME by the way! If you ever get a chance to volunteer - do it! I used to train horses for a local program, it was so much fun!
