Thanks! I want to thank Val and Sverige and all the others who've loaded so many movies. I have a WHOLE new appreciation for what they've done.

Ladies, thank you for an awesome chat tonight - we touched upon a lot of topics, didn´t we? And we learned something along the way too. We didn´t get to discuss the film, because few of us have seen it, but we actually talked for nearly six hours. It was great

We have people from all over the world join in. I'm always impressed by people willing to stay up really late (or get up super early) for these chats! We do 8:00 pm EST. DD joins in Denmark. Sometimes Lavly shows up from Australia. M+M comes, and I'm not sure what time it is for her, but it seems like the chats end at what is 6:00 in the morning or so!
In other words, Trinity, you would be most welcome to come, but how late you want to be up is a factor to consider!

Hey girls! Sorry I missed the chat last night, I crashed as soon as I got home. One of those days. Ruth, have you been feeling all these aftershocks? I'm getting tired of getting woken up in the middle of the night!!!
I did have one broad comment on the movie (other than the fact that I loved it!) - the treatment of disability was very different from what I've seen before. Everyone in the film was very nonchalant about it, no one was freaking out about accessibility or how to treat a dis person. It just...was. I wondered if maybe it was because of the culture - they were in an area where medical care is not the best, people are more likely to be involved in dangerous work (large farm/industrial machinery, drug running, gangs) and accessibility laws don't exist - so there are potentially more serious injuries/disabilities, and it just becomes a fact of life. I know there's a need for some of the social craziness surrounding disabilities, since that's what gets things done, but I wish that people were as matter of fact about wheelers as Carmo was.

I haven't watched it yet, but I did order it. I'm looking forward to seeing it! I haven't felt any aftershocks! I guess you're feeling them because you're much closer to the origin. Either that or I'm really oblivious. lol.

I'm really impressed by DD too, this is why I asked her. 8PM to 2AM EST (6 hours chat) is 2AM to 8AM in the most part of Europe, Danmark included (the time zone is called CET, Central European Time) and it is 1AM to 7AM in the UK (GMT time zone). I dont' think this could be called "late", sounds to me like a very very very (a little bit too much for me) early wake up Not a big deal really, I never thought to argue about the chat time. I know it was chosen to better serve the most part of us and I truly hope I will be strong enough to join at least once I just I would like to congratulate with my insomniac hero DD and ask her how she did. Yeah... It's an early wake up... (that's why I was 'late' to the party ). I'm in the same time-zone as DD and you Trinity . And I usually have to take of for work when some of the ladies are still chatting on ;D. But even at the crazy time, and some 'sleepiness' from my part, I had a great time! (thanks ladies!!!) Did you girls already discuss any new ideas for next month? Book, movie??

Did you girls already discuss any new ideas for next month? Book, movie?? Indeed! You guys are both heroes. Amazing. I think the idea was to do the same movie again next month, since so few had a chance to watch it, and then also discuss Sympathy for the Devil as well. No wait, that's not right. Um, Sympathy for Delicious? Was that it? Sympathy for someone or other. I think they have a branding issue
