Ximena, my favorite aquarium was in Japan. Really crappy, with two exceptions: they let you watch them feed pirana's (takes almost a millisecond) and they had fish that spit a stream of water to knock food off a board held over the water. Other than that, it was pretty dismal. The one in Monterrey is pretty good, but nothing like watching pirana's inhale food.

lol. I have a good friend who is Japanese and we keep saying we'll go together one of these days! I'm trying to learn Japanese but haven't been super studious with it lately... I would think in Japan you would get to see the fish then eat them LOL. Growing up that is what my mom would say. Instead of saying "oh what pretty fish" she'd say "hmm wonder what that would taste like..." I really want to go to that big fish market I think it is in Osakka where they have a sushi bar made from the fish right there. Yum. Love sushi and Japanese food in general and will pretty much try anything at least once.

I'm curious about something, mainly because I know the guy in that last picture you have posted with disc brakes. What do you say when other guys in wheelchairs ask what your disability is?

man that slow shutter speed shit is dupe ! that effect is so eary if i was you though i would work on the composition of the first one. cos i think its a really strong image but the fact that Kapoor work is smack bang in the middle makes not as visibly intersting as it could be if you croped it of made the bean off center. but i like the gost like images. it would make a good sears.

The Cloud Gate? Wowwwww. It's soooo beautiful. I love massive 'public art', especially when they are do ethereal. Have any of you heard of Len Lye? His sculptures (and photos etc) are amazing. Lots of very advanced light and physical principals for his time... Also 'The 'Bean was in the last scenes of Source Code (embarrassingly I cried like a little girl). I know, ewww, mainstream, but Jake Gyllenhal made me do it But actually, I felt hideous for being a dev after that movie...

Amp...that car is crazy! I wish quads could have some awesome custom rides instead of soccer-mom minivans.

Sorry I been away. This summer has been very busy. I have been trying to get most of my projects done or atleast close to finished. My car is getting close to what I would call somewhat finished. I haven't been able to do much because right now I'm dealing with a lot of pain. I had an MRI last week and am still waiting for those results. My right hand is numb to just past the wrist from pinched nerves in my c6-7 area. I had x-rays done last month but all they did was give me meds and lidoderm patches that I'm using now. There's more but I try not getting into any of that here. This place has too much going on and I try not to get into it with others. I'd rather just post photos and talk art, and keep making friends.

Nice pic's Amp, and your car looks awesome. I had no idea you are a photographer, that's one of my hobbies too. My stuff is mostly large format landscapes, but if you would like to see HIGH RESOLUTION, let me know. You'll need to be able to receive a really big file though. I'd love to see your work...meeting other photographers is always nice, especially ones who are also into cars. I'm close to getting my Buick finished which means I will be considering selling and getting a Viper within a year. But I dunno...I guess I gotta drive my Buick to find that out. PM me about your photowork.

Thanks! It's nice to get constructive criticism, I thought about that but since I was not using a tripod and just using my lap, I wasn't looking thru the view finder or liveview. I was mainly focusing on getting as many people in the frame vrs the Bean itself. But I will try and re-crop to see if I can improve on it a little.

I bet you could find a way to make one, or another large car like it, accessible. That's something I'm pretty good at (fabrication) and have been offered work in that field. I'm also a fan of certain mini-vans, you'd be surprised to see bunches of them all chopped up and customized at car events.
