Yeah! I am all in favor of that. I'm not up on new TV shows, but here are some other suggestions: There's a new book out called Waking by a para guy named Matthew Sanford. I haven't read it yet but supposedly it's autobio focused on how he learned to practice and teach yoga. He also has a website: matthewsanford.comAlso, there was a segment on the NPR call-in show Talk of the Nation about a brain implant that allows a high quad to use a computer just by thinking: www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5557882

Pumpkin was a great movie... I enjoyed it a lot. She wasn't fully aware of her devoteeism but was exploring it, and it was also interesting to see how close minded the people in the film were.

I rented Pumpkin a long time ago but wasn't turned-on by the movie at all. I think it was the fact that the guy had mental impairments that made me shy away.

Murderball on INKED 34 - The Hot Seat Wednesday, July 26 9:00pm ET Thursday, July 27 1:00am ET When a young athlete in a wheelchair comes into the shop for a tattoo, the artists are intrigued by the sport he plays. So, days later when the young man calls the shop to invite the artists down to the gym to play, the games really begin. But can the artists survive their turn at Murderball? Meanwhile, Carey's in his own hot seat as he agrees to a new sport, Super-Moto. Regarding TV shows: The other day at my friend's place I saw from the corner of my eyes a trailer of a film with some wheels in it. Unfortunately I didn't hear or see much of it, because my friend has an overwhelming personality, and of course since I don't have a TV I couldn't see afterwards what was going on. But then I did some research, and found out that it is a French/Catalan comedy, "Comme sur des roulettes", ("Sobre rodes" in the Catalan version) about a guy who pretends to be a wheeler to get a job in a company where they hire only disabled people. imdb.com/title/tt0460750/or www.cinemotions.com/modules/Films/fiche/23921/Comme-sur-des-roulettes.htmlI don't have a clue if the film is good or not – it is shown uniquely in the TV (at least until now) what I don't have and I don't want – but I guess the cute Frédéric Diefenthal (commissar Émilien Coutant-Kerbalec of the Taxi films) wheeling around could be worth watching. I personally am eager to see that film because of another guy in it: Bruno de Stabenrath, who beside being a real quad is one of my favourite French writers (and no, not because he's a quad, but because he writes the way I like it).

wow, I'm not sure how you great dev women would manage over here in the UK -- used as a link segment between programmes on the BBC is 3 guys in wheelchairs doing some kind of dance routine. One of the guys is quite q well-known wheelchair sportsman, and is TV quite alot. Wheelchairs on British TV aren't rare, they're just not frequent as of yet

I know, I frequently look at the BBC Ouch! site and raise my fist in frustration when I see how progressive the BBC is about featuring and even training disabled actors for mainstream TV shows compared to the US. Nearly everything on US TV is copied from the UK, except that We really are in the dark ages over here. BTW Mr C4 thanks for the props, why not become a member and introduce yourself?

In Canada you seem to see more people in chairs on t.v than in U.S shows too.
