I remember an old episode of Beverley Hills 90210 that featured a para character, I think he was a cousin of Brandon and Brenda. One scene had him playing basketball, the guy was not a real para but his chair moves looked authentic.

"On that note has anyone out there driven a car in mainstream traffic with a stick or whatever (no handcontrols) Yes...illeagally and insanely enough...I managed to pull that off once, on the highway...some sketchy stuff I tell ya'...I had to use one hand/elbow/arm to give it gas, brake, clutch, etc. and my elbow/hand to steer and shift...it was in an old Ford F-150. That's what happens when one too many a drink has been consumed.

There's still that wheeler guy on the Las Vegas TV show. He's part of security. In one of the shows last season, he attended and had fun at a bachelor party along with a few of the main characters and it seemed implied that he was going to hook up. It was good to see that the character was pretty much just one of the guys and it was not assumed that his character would have any less fun with women than an AB guy.

The char on 90210 was called Bobby. This is the episode: imdb.com/title/tt0522850/I loved this episode. He did do a pretty good job (I thought) though it has been years since I saw it.

I remember an episode from "air wolf" where a group of paras were working together to get up this small mountain, they were being hunted by a crazy mountain man.

Anyone catch "Friday Night Lights" last night? Man, if only life were that easy. By the way, they seem to be putting more and more Devo-Candy in every episode!

Trying to read the whole board here, found this topic and the egoistic thought of bringing it up again came to me . Also wanted to recommend the movie "The white countess". Usually I am not into blindness, but this one blew my head far away. In fact, the devo experience was so immense, that I actually cried my eyes out overwhelmed by it. The plot isn't very interesting or logical, but the relationship between the blind guy and the lady worth every minute of it. One of Ralfh Fiennes' best played parts, if you ask me.
