Watched the season premiere of A Million Little Things and one of the main characters (and the hottest one of them, IMO) was hit by a car and is now a paraplegic. I feel like it’s definitely the type of show that will *magically* have him recover by end of season, but hopefully there will be some devvy moments before then! Anyway, the season premiere should be on Hulu tomorrow and then the next episode is in two weeks after Thanksgiving! Just saw (and skimmed) the episode 2 recap for this and it seemed somewhat devvy... Anyone verify? And if I wanted to get into this, would I need to really watch the first two seasons? Watch the first 2 seasons!!!!!! omg I am sooooooo hooked. It is a great show but I’m definitely excited for whatever happens in season 3!

Woah, I'm suddenly remembering seeing "Going to the Mat" (about a blind wrestler) on Disney channel as a kid and being totally transfixed. Haven't thought about that in years! I've seen it a lot of times, too , it's on Disney+ in case you want to see it again!

That, Motocrossed, and Miracle in Lane 2 (or whatever the Frankie Munez racing one is) fueled my young girl dev desires. I started watching Going to the Mat today to remember and man is that kid a jerk! If he'd been in my school, blind or not, I would have probably avoided him since he was so mean- at least at the beginning!

No disabled character, but her twin brother breaks his leg and I found that... Intriguing. :-P

Especially with Frankie Munez XD. That just reminded me of Mac and Me, an off-brand ET where the main character is in a chair (and in real life has SB I believe). Even as a kid I remember feeling odd watching it with my siblings. Also I cannot remember if this is here but I watched The View From Tall (on Amazon Prime) two weeks ago which stars Michael Patrick Thornton irl wheeler and the guy from Private Practice. Also was surprised to see him in Away.

There's a fun little devvy surprise in the newest season of The Expanse. Details??? I've never watched the expanse, do I need to watch all the previous seasons? I haven't actually seen the full season yet, but so far it's just one scene with a (seemingly) non-recurring character. You could probably watch just that scene without being too confused- it's just one of the main characters encountering someone from his past and having a moment of nostalgia. What was neat was that his disablity wasn't centered in the opening of the scene, it was never addressed, and it appeared to be congenital. Maybe someone who has read the books would have something different to say, but as someone who has only seen the show, it was fun to see a disablity that was seemingly as incidental as hair color. Anyway, The Expanse is really fun and a great show if you're into space cowboys, technology porn, interplanetary politics, and murder mysteries. I'd recommend it to anyone! (MAJOR SPOILERS, play at your own risk.)

hey. i just watched "Under the Riccione Sun" on Netflix. One of the main characters is blind and has a nice story arc. Don't know if it is available in every country, but still.

Oprah Winfrey network has a new drama series called Delilah and the title character’s brother is a really buff real life para. Nothing too devvy yet but he’s really good looking and he’s been in every episode so far.
