Thank you Emma and Lisa!! I'm trying hard to keep the momentum going. I've been including a lot of non-dev stuff but people say they like it so I will continue to put in other things about my dating life even when I was not with PWDs.

Devo Diary is back! Sorry for the long hiatus, but I finally have time to start posting again. I'll be updating every other Wednesday. You can read the latest chapter here.
If you're a new member or haven't been reading, Devo Diary is my memoir of my real dating life as a dev. I try to keep it funny and interesting but it's mainly a cautionary tale. Sooo many bad decisions.
Anyway at this point in the story, I have just returned to the US after living overseas for a few months, and there are a lot of loose strings to tie up with exes, including K, the blind guy, and The Mantis, the para who's into BDSM. I just got around now to finish the latest chapter. I love reading about your life and a lot what you're writing sounds familiar. I met a guy from my past last week and had exactly the thoughts you're describing: "Logically, I know I don't want to get back together with him. But whenever I'm around a hot guy with a disability my dev desires just take over and logic goes out the window." Yeah. Dev problems I guess... I also really liked that you included link to the aria! Too bad the K story ended like that... Sometimes loose threads just don't get a closure in life  . I'm looking forward to your next chapters very much! |

Dev problems, yeah, I think it's THE dev problem. I used to think the problem was meeting PWDs but really the problem is chasing after the wrong guy.
I'm so glad you liked the hyperlinks. I've been meaning to put them in earlier chapters too but haven't gotten around to it. I'll try to include more links if it comes up in future chapters.
FYI if you're curious that really is the end of the K saga, I never heard from him after that and didn't try to contact him again. It was better not to.
Anyway thanks so much for reading! I know I lose readers when it takes me so long to update but I really appreciate people sticking with it.

It's time for another chapter of Devo Diary! It was particularly hard to write this chapter but I try to be as honest as possible about my experience with dev/dis relationships even if I don't always come out looking so great.
