I remember him! I always wondered why those pics went away, since you had permission from him too post them. Those pics were actually the first inspiration for me to go looking for visuals of PWD. It had never occurred to me that guys would have pics or video online. So, I guess this was the beginning of years of YouTube searches. LOL |

Can you repost them since I'm guessing the prudes are long gone  . Having pics to go with Devo Diary would make it even better! I've always loved books with pictures  and yay for another update before the holidays. Maybe I should save this one to read when I need an escape. They're not gone, just lurking, I suspect. |

The specific person who complained was a woman who claimed not to be a dev but was the wife of a para (this was back before we had membership rules). She complained loudly on the board about the very concept of devs existing as disrespectful to PWDs, and emailed Lee to complain that the photos were proof that all devs want to victimize and abuse wheelers. Years later I found out that she was actually a dev but was attacking us in an attempt to prove to her husband that she wasn't.
Anyway it feels weird to post the photos now. I haven't been in touch with the Mantis for years; I don't know where he is or if he would still be ok with it, and I'm not going to try to contact him out of the blue just to ask, sorry.

Oh gosh I wasn't suggesting you contact him again! I imagine that would be super weird. I figured if you had permission then he would assume they were still posted.

Thank you Dee Dee and Emma!! I'm so glad you are enjoying it. Some people have a phobia about needles--it's not for everyone! BDSM is so misrepresented in TV and movies, real life practices are so different.
