Hi Devogirl, I almost never login anymore, I just quietly lurk around, but I'll stop hiding for a second to tell you that Devo Diary is my favourite story on the blog, and I'm always reeeeally happy to read a new chapter. Thank you! And I'm back to lurking again 😉

Thank you medora ! I really appreciate it! I know it's hard to get readers when I go months in between updates, but I don't have a lot of time for writing, and sometimes it's hard to get inspired when I'm writing about bad experiences. I'm so glad to know that people are reading. I'm working on the next chapter now so it should be up soon. |

Some of the things you write remind me so much of myself and mistakes I've made, it's actually quite painful and sad to read. So determined to believe things will work out with these guys, we blithely plough on, ignoring every red flag going, whilst everyone around us shakes their heads in disbelief that we, as intelligent women, can be so stupid. Thanks for sharing, devogirl. Reading this makes me feel a little less alone in my foolishness. |

Thank you Inkdevil! That is exactly my intention in writing. It's been hard to write because it was such a bad time in my life but I hope it can serve as a warning to other devs not to make the same mistakes. You're definitely not alone! I think a lot of us here have had these kinds of experiences. |
