I'm into hand cycling! I go quite regularly - except the winter I can see that your tyres are also for outroad tracks. I'm more for paved roads

I just got a cycle this past week and am planning to ride every day 2.5 miles. And gradyaly increase. I want to be able to do 5 miles in 2 months. I have a loop that I do around he neighborhood and it had a couple gnarly hills. its a great workout.

He doesn't laugh at my joke anymore. Some might say you wheeled that joke into the ground.

Stamina increases very quickly. Attachment Deleted

I'm sure the fact that you actually have core support helps too.

Come on guys. .. 3-5 miles or even 15 miles should be tiring??? Come on guys. . You are discouraging all the paras or quads that would like to begin. We use our arms all day long and, be honest 3-5 miles is ridiculously short distance and no tiring at all for everyone. Even for someone not in shape at all. So, for everyone who wants to try, go and practice. It's fun and it helps the body a lot. Mr. 1legisbest I am sure you will improve more, you seem determined. However you might want to get a better hand bike. You will appreciate the difference!

I am renting this bike for now until I decide which one I want to buy. Any recommendations?

15 miles is NOT a lot... IF you are a legit wheelchair user. I could kiss you in the mouth for that statement.

Just as an example my husband has done 3 big marathons in a handcycle and completed them all w/o a problem. He wasn't the last handcycler to finish any of them and mostly came in middle of the pack. He did all this without training on a handcycle at all. The 1st marathon he had only ridden a handcycle briefly 3 times. So yeah, 15 miles is not a lot for a regular manual wc user.

15 miles is NOT a lot... IF you are a legit wheelchair user. I thought this website was a friendly and welcoming place for devs and wannabes. Maybe I was wrong. My need to use a chair might not be based in a physical need but it is real and it is legitimate. I didn't choose to have BIID.
