I'm not a bad dev! I just think you should post stuff like this only if asked and if it's a site FOR naked pictures. Yes, this. Thanks that is what I was trying to say by referencing the brown banana from years ago. Josh are you socially challenged? I'm being serious. Do you realize these pics are not appropriate and no one wants to see them? Make some friends here and maybe then offer to send the pics privately but the general membership here could care less about naked pics of you in a wheelchair. What do you think devs are looking for anyways? Also I can't believe you decided to post side views after the feedback you got your your front view.

Unlike the infamous banana incident this thread has a very clear title and is marked as NSFW. I'm really not so sure why this is such a big deal to some. In another thread members even expressed specific encouragement about sharing more nudity. I can see why especially a new member might not even consider that sharing some explicit picture could be unwanted. Besides, why may people post drawn pornography being praised for it and when a guy posts naked selfies, it makes him socially challenged? Maybe I miss a point but it seems a lot like double standards to me.
There have been countless links to stuff that is definitely just as much NSFW on the board. I enjoyed the drawings that inkdevil and others posted. I'm sure some people visiting PD also did enjoy the pictures of josh. And don't tell me it's something nobody wants to see because if I was a gay dev personally, it would be exactly what I'd want to see. I'm not, thus I prefer looking at naked females doing stuff that satisfies my own sexual likings instead. But regardless of content, visual stimuli work for me and for most other people I know.
If you feel offended by a full nude, why not simply ignore a thread advertising it instead of going after the guy who was brave enough to post it? Is a naked penis really that scary?
Don't get me wrong, I understand we all have different moral or aesthetic standpoints and it's legitimate to express them. But many people are self-conscious enough about their own body as it is. Can't we express our personal view on a picture in a less hurtful way and acknowledge that our opinion is not an absolute truth?

Again this is one reason I like this place. I was not a fan of this thread, to put it mildly, but thanks to Nordic, I can see it from a different perspective. My only hesitation is that I wouldn't want this to turn into a place that starts to resemble a porn sight more than anything else. I do believe that has been covered already with the sub-board idea. There is simply a lot more here to see than that.

I was confused and embarrassed for the OP, honestly. He asked, after all. I have a theory. It will have to wait until I have some time to sort it and word it inoffensively.

I haven't been reading any of the threads about drawings so didn't see where Josh asked if he should post naked pictures. If I had seen that I definitely would have made the same point I did above. I stand by my initial post. Sure people see the thread differently (thanks Nordic) but that doesn't mean I think its cool when a random new dude makes a whole thread where he shares several naked pictures. It just seems like a strange way to meet people.

I was confused and embarrassed for the OP, honestly. He asked, after all. Me too. Sorry dude. I did try to steer things more productively but that was a big fail.....I actually did find the pics (and others of wheelers) interesting just to see what the disability does to your body. I have a theory. It will have to wait until I have some time to sort it and word it inoffensively. Well considering the totally nude other pics that were posted some months ago, I see 2 differences: 1. He is a member here, the others were of some guy that some people recognized but was not a member here as far as we know 2. The others were of a sporty, muscular, chiseled-face guy, the type that lots of devs swoon over I can't find that those other pics but I remember one with the guy in his chair naked out on the street or something like that.....

Yup. I remember pics of a naked para handcuffed by the dev. I remember stories in the fiction section that contained incest (a wheeler having sex with his mom), violence (a quad with his hands suspended, wearing nipple clamps and having another guy use the quad's spasming hands to jerk him off), and lots of other juicy stuff. I remember pics of catheter mishaps and tales of bladder and bowel accidents... Pretty much anything goes. Or went... I guess the difference here is we have a name and a personality to go with the image. It's not some anonymous dude on XTube or YouPorn. I think PD had ALWAYS had a porn element. .. and why not? We are talking about an attraction that for many of us has a sexual component. I still think there could be a subsection for "artistic work" be it photography, sketches, painting, etc. I also think Josh has handled this all very well. He asked, provided, and then respectfully withdrew his pics. I know we all don't agree on what is pornography and what is art- nor should we. But if pics of anonymous guys are ok, then... it IS a double standard if guys we know post pics and we cry foul. Personally, there are a ton of guys who I don't WANT to see their junk... LOL. Most, in fact. I think most women just don't want to see a naked penis just hanging out for the world to see. Certainly not where we are all together, virtually, at least. But... We have a large and vocal gay dev community here... so I can't say most DEVS don't want to see it. Actually... based on years of frequenting both XTube and YouPorn I would bet ready money that Josh could make BANK with his images (and videos). But back to PD. We old-timers have been known to talk about how PD has mellowed over the years. How a lot of the edge has been smoothed away. How it's become a kinder, fluffier site. And some newer members ask how so? I think we have an example right here.

If you mind naked pics then why even click on the post. Or was it renamed?
Perhaps we can agree to only post links to naked pictures offsite? Then those who dont like it can think twice before clicking.
I thought you were brave to show off your body to not complete strangers.
I would find it hard to use these images in art though. I think I would find a more rested body easier to portray. And also, getting rid of some other distractions like background clutter makes it easier to use. If you dont have a single color wall to pose against you can hang up a white sheet or something behind you.....

I think a lot of people who are protesting and criticize are actually happy to have somebody to degrade.

I also think Josh has handled this all very well. He asked, provided, and then respectfully withdrew his pics. Me, too. I love how you give me the opportunity to say what I want even when we haven't discussed something. lol Josh HAS handled it well. We have very recently had a fabulous example of how not to handle things. Also, I am envious of the confidence to post those pictures. As someone who's spent my life convinced that no one wanted to see me naked (thank you media and fat shaming culture! lol) and who has only had two people genuinely make me feel beautiful and wanted... so yeah, I'm very envious. Years ago, after one of my PD jaunts, I had the desire to do a series of tasteful nudes of disabled men. Showcasing the beauty of their parts that they tend to want to hide. Unfortunately, desire does not equal equipment, talent and the funds to travel. lol
