Bottom line Josh, girls don't get turned on the same way guys do. For us, a nude pic is an instant boner. Girls need a lot more than that, for the most part. Sure, some girls get turned on by images, especially on this site, but it's because of mental stuff that happens because of the pictures whereas we get turned on by a pic even if our mind is blank (which for us, is usually the case when viewing a nude pic) Ok yes, this is what I was trying to point out but stopped posting because everyone was yelling about how brave Josh was. Yeah sure you were brave Josh, but I think you missed the point of what a female dev is. If i'm looking for a relationship I could care less about nude pics of males I don't know regardless of how hot I find them disability-wise. If you are here looking to meet a female dev I;d suggest participating in the conversations rather than posting and reposting your nudes. |

Just so I'm clear. This is a site for devs of disabled men with any number of ways to access posts and interact with members. We are being asked to self-censor the way we all post because some members only want to access the site in one way? That hardly seems fair.... I have to say that I agree with mrniceguy. Clicking on "Recent Posts" is the easiest, quickest way to catch up on what you've missed on here. It's kind of like browsing your FB feed - there is no way I would go to individual friends' profiles to see updates. I couldn't imagine browsing this site in any other way. That being said, I used to browse PD in the company of my SO. Coming across huge suggestive pics that you then have to quickly scroll past is annoying. Also I'd like to point out that a lot of "in-the-closet" devs might discreetly browse this site when in company - and they feel safe doing so, as the board is mostly text-based. |

OK. Here's my take on it all, now that I've got my tongue back (don't ask where it's been). Was I shocked when I clicked on the thread and the initial picture came up? Yes, but only because I wasn't anticipating a full frontal for some reason and the picture was BIG on my work computer. The guy who sits next to me choked in his chocolate Hobnob and had to be given the kiss of life. Do you know what - I shouldn't have been looking at something that was clearly labelled as naked pictures on my work computer. My fault, not Josh's. Was I offended by the picture? No, of course not! I think it's great. I wasn't interested because of the title...but shit, I had to take a look when there were six pages of comments, and people were discussing it outside of PD. Ultimately we all have a choice to post graphic photos...or not. View graphic photos or not. I've become fascinated by the whole thing. I haven't printed or saved any of the pics...and I haven't PM'd Josh wanting some sexual interaction...but I bet several gay/bi devs have. Good for him...he came looking for some bi-curious attention/interaction.... he's getting what he came for...and then some. Shoot, the vast majority of PWD's that grace the board, NEVER get what they are hoping for. You can think it's offensive, crude, or even gross... I call it creative marketing.
