Bahahaha I never use "most recent posts" so I didn't know that. I'm having a serious chuckle envisioning you opening the site at work. I'm a terrible human being. You're not terrible at all! That would actually be quite funny.

Well...... the problem with using the Recent Posts feature is that you end up also seeing posts in the Devs Only section. So, for those of us who don't want to constantly be seeing new posts and threads in a section of the board that we don't want to be reading (for reasons that have already been discussed at great length before), this would not be the best way to go about doing this. Otherwise it would still be best (at least for us disabled guys) to go through the sections and threads individually to avoid this problem. Also been discussed at length. That is the reason some threads in "devs only" have (devs only) as part of the title. I thank you devs for that, btw.

At least this thread said "[NSFW] Picture of me naked in wheelchair" as the title.

I'm not sure you're getting my point. When scrolling through recent posts, a thread marked as (devs only) can be glossed over as just words on a page. No harm, no foul. Obviously, some written posts would also fall into the NSFW category if the reader chooses to read them aloud. That is a choice we have.
But when a giant picture of someone's dick pops up, that choice whether or not to share with those around me is taken away. I would make the same argument if a hot dev wanted to blast pics of her cooch all over the board. I honestly don't give a shit if the OP wants to share links on here, I know what a dick looks like, but a lot of us read from this board throughout the day while at work or in the company of others. I don't check out porn sites at work because (among other things) I don't want it on my computer screen if someone pops into my office.
If that is the direction the majority of members here want to go, have at it. But I'll be the first to say Adieu.

Just to clarify: The cooch comment was just to make a point. If any devs do feel the need to share pics, nude or otherwise, my PM box is always open.

Why not use the New Topics page to view new posts? Click the New thingy in front of the topic title and you're taken to the first new post. No need to scroll through tons of posts, no chance of seeing unwanted material. Josh had the decency to ask first, label the topic accordingly and then the courage to post pictures. I don't see what's wrong with it. If you don't want to risk seeing naked men, don't browse websites.

Just so I'm clear. This is a site for devs of disabled men with any number of ways to access posts and interact with members. We are being asked to self-censor the way we all post because some members only want to access the site in one way?
That hardly seems fair....

It was a suggestion. I merely pointed out that it wasn't as black and white as simply not clicking on the thread title. Maybe some people agree, maybe they don't, I was just throwing it out there. Btw, the Recent Threads icon does not work in this browser. It may be a setting or something simple.
Look, I'm not a prude. The sight of a naked man does not offend me. But this can be a very slippery slope. If the members feel like they want to take this place in that direction, so be it. But I know that I'm not alone in viewing this site from work and even from home with others around. Is a link THAT difficult? I don't see it as censorship, the content is still there.
Then there is this: "If you don't want to risk seeing naked men, don't browse websites." Are you saying that ALL websites contain pictures of naked men? I literally browse hundreds per day at work and home and this is the only place I've seen a naked man in some time. Again, maybe I'm browsing the internet wrong.

But when a giant picture of someone's dick pops up, that choice whether or not to share with those around me is taken away. So a drawing of a naked glrl on the lap of a wheeler or a guy performing cunnilingus are appropriate to share? The suggestion of having links made sense to me until it was arbitrarily related to dick pictures only. Sorry if I don't follow you but as has been pointed out, there are safer ways of checking updates on here. They might be a better choice when surfing a board that has sexually oriented topics around people you don't want to share that with. I see where you are coming from but I believe the problem you have and others probably have as well is much easier fixed by adjusting the way you use the board than by educating every new member on the exact conditions under which you may post which picture where. Especially since we already established how individual these conditions might be for all the members of this community. I personally consider the board NSFW in general. The topic is a sexual attraction and the target audience is adults, so I expect to see explicit stuff here and there.

5 pages of pure, unadulterated entertainment... I'm thinking about cancelling my cable subscription if this keeps up. Thank you Josh...the board needed a lil excitement!

AND, look at how many views this thread immediately received compared to the other threads. Hell, I'll admit that I clicked it purely because it was labeled nude. It was morbid curiosity, no offense Josh. If any devs do feel the need to share pics, nude or otherwise, my PM box is always open. Now this is one point we can both agree on. actually, instead of feeling free, please send me pictures. They don't have to be nude, I would just love to see the other people on this board. There, I said it. While I'm at it, I'm also going to call bullshit on MrNiceGuy, sure he might cover his computer screen quickly before anybody saw a naked girl, but it would be with a huge shit eating grin and plans to peruse the page at leisure as soon as the coast is clear. Bottom line Josh, girls don't get turned on the same way guys do. For us, a nude pic is an instant boner. Girls need a lot more than that, for the most part. Sure, some girls get turned on by images, especially on this site, but it's because of mental stuff that happens because of the pictures whereas we get turned on by a pic even if our mind is blank (which for us, is usually the case when viewing a nude pic)
