Tattoos are something I always used to hate but just recently I have started finding them attractive.
I wouldn't want them myself but some beautiful art on a fit, good looking guy can really do it for me.

I have 2 tattoos on my chest. On the left side an Apsara dancer (just the face) and on the right side a Hannya mask (with Sakura blossom added later). Tomorrow I will get an addition on the left side (Lotus flower). The flowers are/will be in colour, the face and mask are black and grey. Very much an Asian theme, since I spent a lot of time traveling through Asia and living in China.

I have a bunch of (intentionally) dumb tattoos. Left forearm is an ambulance that has bunny ears and legs instead of wheels, a doodle of a stapler from the book A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, binary around my wrist that says "MOM", a slice of pizza that I did myself with my cheapo tattoo machine, and a dead bird that a friend did while we were drinking. I'm not a tattoo artist and neither is my friend so those two are hilariously shitty. I also hae a dumb flash art skull on my right shoulder with a crack in it exactly where I fractured my skull when I almost died. And finally, on my right foot I have a stick and poke that I drunkenly did a few years ago and then recently went over with my machine that says "FUCK IT".
There are pictures of most of them that I've posted, maybe I'll post more here in a bit. But yeah, all of them are intentionally pretty damn dumb and I'm really happy with them.

Great result, let the healing begin... My God, it's going to itch like crazy!

I currently have 6 tattoos, my left arm is decorated with the horde symbol from Warcraft as well as Thrall, Harley Quinn in a sort of pin up style and I have The Joker on that shoulder blade. On the left side of my chest i have a Lions head with the hand of the king from GoT combined and am thinking of adding the Tyrion quote from season 1 "Never forget what you are, the rest of the world will not. Wear it like armour and it can never be used to hurt you." And last but not least in fact it was my firston the right side of my chest I have a fallen angel.

So, here's an update on my tattoos: First is a picture of my completed chest tattoos (Hanya mask and Apsara dancer with respective background).
And second, the Ganesha tattoo on my left upper arm, done just yesterday.

Thanks! The Hanya mask is from Japanese traditional theatre known as Kibuki and is used for the character of a frustrated woman or demon. That symbolises the frustrations I feel and have felt during my life with regards to my disability and the physical pain that comes with it. The Apsara dancer is a celestial being from Hindu mythology comparable to an angel, so positive and soothing. This symbolises my positive experiences throughout my life. The Ganesha is a Hindu-god who is known as the defeater of evil, so again a symbol for how I have overcome setbacks throughout my life.
The reason why I choose Asian tattoos is, because I have lived in and traveled through Asia and am very interested in the various Asian cultures and religions.

i got my first one recently and i absolutely love it! its super girly and colorful, i might share it, but i am probably too shy its definitely not going to be my last one!! Such a tease! I, for one, would love to see your colorful super girly body art I've pondered getting one for so long that I think it's time to admit to myself that it's probably not going to happen. However, the sheer curiosity of wanting to know what it feels like might result in me getting something small. I hear that it feels like constant scratching. How would you describe it?

It's such a difficult sensation to explain... it's almost like a scratching that kind of burns too? Haha.... weird I know. It also depends on where you get it. The one I have on my inner arm (between my armpit and elbow) was pretty sensitive, but getting one on an area with more fat/padding doesn't hurt as much. I would imagine getting one on the ass would be the least amount of pain lol And yeah, frankj yours are beautiful!

However, the sheer curiosity of wanting to know what it feels like might result in me getting something small. I hear that it feels like constant scratching. How would you describe it? It feels like razor blades slicing in to your flesh some like paper cuts, other parts more like slicing in to your soul while making your bones clack. I've got a big colourful bastard on a thigh, and heard "Oh, it's kind of like scratching a sunburn", also "There aren't a lot of nerves in that area, it's one of the least painful places". Nope. Bearable, though, you just gotta find a happy place that's not the actual place you're in at the time. Apparently it's really not that painful for some people though, so there's that.

In my experience, it feels like what it is--a vibrating needle. It only feels like a sunburn after, when it's healing. In the moment, it is quite painful but not unbearable, and I have an embarrassingly low pain tolerance. After a while, you get a big rush of endorphins and it feels great. If you're getting a piece that takes longer, the endorphin rush comes while you're still under the needle, so it stops hurting as much. The first 15 minutes or so are the worst.

The biggest challenge for me, when I get a tattoo, is controling my spasms so that I don't end up with some weird line work on my skin. But in general I find that the needle does not hurt, as long as it does not go over any bone. In my case, some of the lines were put right on top of my collar bones. That was slightly painful and uncomfortable. Other than that, I can easily fall asleep while getting a tattoo.
Oh, make sure you have eaten enough beforehand, because I have seen other people who got sick or passed out. Even when a tattoo does not hurt, the experience takes a toll on the body and it's just that much easier when you just had a substancial meal and enough to drink.
