Wow blueskye101 I would have died right then and there... Very cool that you got to see that though. I have been checking around the area for teams and games but I didn't see much so far...maybe in Seattle.

The lady in charge said there were several teams but had played earlier and missed.

I am literally in disbelief about what happened last night and of course I had to share the event with you immediately. Well, some of you might even know (because I posted here or on WC I am not sure - thread about the plans for the weekend) that I am in Sofija (Bulgaria) for the weekend. My BF, who is DJ played last night in a night club here. I was of course with him. The party was really good and I danced all night. At some point, around 3:30 am my BF finished his set and joined me on the floor. We were first talking to each other, discussing about the music and my impressions about his set and at some point he just went to the bar to get us drinks. I stayed where I was and I just looked to the floor- just to see who is there and if somebody dances good... And my stomach dropped. The guy in front of me didn't have his left leg above the knee. He had prosthetic leg and short jeans so I could see it clearly. To make things worse her was very good looking... I just watched him until 9am when we all left and that's all.... I had a dream about him I think about him all day etc....

Very cool and I bet you are still thinking about that....

Dani I know but I swear to god it happened just like I described. Btw later on I discovered that the his name is Alek and that he is a friend of a gay who invited my BF to perform in Sofia. I failed when I tried to find him on social media though:( I do think about him everyday though but more like a really nice and super realistic dev pic for a daydreaming than anything else more:)

Thought I'd contribute something here wheeler spotting. I am so envious of most of you as the last time I spotted a wheeler was like two years ago. When you live in a country of 90000 people it is hard to find wheelers let alone spot them. So sad for me

If it makes you feel any better xana I haven't spotted a wheeler for ages either, which might in part be why I am in the deepest, longest dev low I can ever remember. And I don't like it!

Interestingly I saw more attractive wheelers in the past month here in my home town then in many years past. Generally my experience is, that here in Germany you rarely see wheelers who aren't very sick old people, homeless people, etc. I dunno why, the country isn't even that unaccessible.

Maybe because of the weather I'm not sure whether it was supposed to be a joke ;-), but it's actually true. Most wheelers I see when it's about 20°C outside. They seem to vanish if it's colder or hotter. I guess there are some disabilities that cause problems with cold or hot weather, but I'm still sad that there seem to be so many who only go out on a few days of the year? Honestly, I just hope that's not really the case and all in my dev head ;-).

Yesterday I spotted a wheeler, maybe mid 20s, and while I was passing him I noticed in the corner of my eye that a guy bent down and kissed him. I thought to myself, OMG a couple!!!! and turned around but, no!!!! The man was indeed kissing him, on the cheek, but the wheeler said, stop dad, stop it. Geez parents are so clueless sometimes This reminds me of a girl I saw in a wheelchair place, she was saying no, no pictures, but her mom and the vendor insisted in taking pictures of her in her new chair.

It's hard to find clothes that are warm enough but still functional...Good thing that Summer is arriving in Europe

Gosh, I feel the same way here in the Pacific Northwest...the weather has been soooo dreary for so long and of course no sane wheeler rolls out in that weather.
Now instead of wheelers I have already resorted to get my dev fix on when for example the other day I saw a dude with a cast on his leg and on crutches.
We both arrived in the grocery store parking lot at the same time and when I saw him get out of his truck and saw what I saw I was like "All righty, a little eye candy for me to check out" and I have to admit I seemed to need stuff from the same aisles he needed stuff from and we both ended at the same register too, what a coincidence...LOL
I kind of had to smile about myself and even watched him in my car mirror as he got into his truck again...
