Hi, watching your video I was almost sure you will show "the cripper" . Your solution sure is the cheaper one but if you don't heard about the cripper, go check it out. I think the company is called quadtools.com I was so amazed by this tool I bought two of them and since then I can almost pick up everything, pills, coins, paper... not a problem anymore. I also saw a video of another quad using a simple strip attached with a sticky pad which is used by the elektro stimmulation devices. Similar to your trick but when it comes to picking up paper or magazines its gonna be the faster way. We need a quad tweaks/tricks thread

honestly, I don't drop shit very often...i focus highly on what i'm doing when I'm alone cuz I know i'm fucked if I drop.
Quad arms: the first few years post injury i, too, was embarrassed about my arms and wrists and chest. All had shrunk, so I even wore tennis sweatbands on my wrists...hated my skinny arms, too. At some point I shed the wristbands, and I started wearing tank tops...now, they still don't look completely filled out like pre-injury, but the muscles i have look strong due to pushing for many years. I didn't have a quad-belly for many years, but as i've aged I've grown one...I wear a binder, or rib belt, that holds it in some. there's a few reasons i never go without it beside vanity. It helps with posture, neck pain, balance and breathing out.

One of my frustrations... And I don't know why my voice is so raspy and weird. Maybe I'm finally hitting puberty.

I thought this was kind of funny. Also, I don't like how I move. I don't think I noticed before but it's weird to me.

So, I can't find the thread I was looking for but it was something like "How we deal with winter" so I'll add a link here. Even though winter here is waning, this has been a game changer for me and I wanted to share with other people that might have the same struggles. I've been having custom clothes made and plan on replacing almost everything by the end of the year with stuff that fits better. I'm currently working on a fitted lap cover to go with rain gear.

I'm sure some the other wheelers here are also sick of getting wet legs and the big rain ponchos are such a cumbersome pain in the ass. I came up with this rain fly and it really works well so far. I'll be perfecting it and have one actually sewn up in a good, packable fabric.

I made another video but this one might be more interesting to the wheelers. I posted a prototype before of a rain fly and I finally got around to making a more finished version. Enjoy.

I’m a serial lurker here (even though I joined like 10 years ago and have been a dev my entire life), but am going through a hardcore dev spell lately. These videos are so rad. Thanks for being so awesome by making them, mrniceguy.

Thanks for being so awesome by making them, mrniceguy. Thank you for the positive feedback. If there’s anything else you want to see or are curious about (within reason, it is YouTube), I’ll try to accommodate. My rehab doctor actually asked me to make some with a little more production value to share with her other SCI patients. We’re doing that sometime in April so I’ll share the links on here if I can. And best of luck with your dev spell.
