hey queenkala want to talk about it when your done. its so heavy even though its an easy read/listen. i am at chaper 5 and even though the disabled character is in full force, its devy for me yet ... i think that might be dude to the lack of love intrest ? maybe? ether way i would love to hear your take on it. It's going to be my train book for the next few weeks. I have a 55 min commute each way to work each day. it might be a while before I'm done. But I'm impressed so far.

is there any good new books that anyone is reading? i just started " a little life" and i dont know really whats going on but there is a disabled character in it and so fare its looking great. Bought this today on your suggestion. Just one chapter in and I'm really enjoying it! Thanks for for the recommendation! Is this the novel? I'm always up for new books- www.amazon.com/Little-Life-Novel-Hanya-Yanagihara/dp/0385539258Edit: And what is the disability of the character if it is this book? It seems pretty hefty if it isn't super prevalent!

He walks with a limp and apparently stairs are a big deal. This is all i know, being only one chapter in.

yeah ... its that book. i think your right its nerve damge but there is times where the character is wheelchair bowned.
ps im lovinggggggggggg this book . so im making me para partner to read it too just cos i need someone to talk to about it.
i just want to put a warning out there ... that the reviews say its a heavy book but i dont think i relised how deep and discriptive it gets about abuse. so if you have trigers maybe this book should stay on the book shelf

So I finished this book a few days ago, and I'm not exactly sure how I feel about it. There were devvy moments for sure, and a lot of it I liked, but with the other things... I'm not so sure it was worth it. Either way though, I'm still kind of trapped in this book, so if anyone wants to talk about it, hit me up

I have NO idea how I missed this topic, but definitely time for me to chime in. :-) I didn't do a read through, so my sincerest apologies if any of these are repetitive in nature.
Nothing More To Lose (Hidden Cove Firefighters series Book 3) by Kathryn Shay Hero is in a wheelchair. NOT para, just nerve damage from thighs down.
Dancing at Midnight (Blydon Book 2) by Julia Quinn Hero limps.
Making Faces by Amy Harmon The main characters in this irritate me to no end. However, a secondary character has MD and the author did an OK job handling it. He doesn't get the girl but he does get another wish. (It's a frustrating read, lol)
Protecting Melody (SEAL of Protection Book 7) by Susan Stoker Here is a below the knee amputee
Back To Us by Teresa Roman DAK (These characters are both young, really young. I didn't love it because of that. I single it out because it's hard to find DAK as a hero)
Old Boyfriends by Rexanne Becnel I wasn't a fan of most of the characters in this book, but one relationship is involving a para and they actually get a lot right, including the bedroom.
One Summerhill Day (The Summerhill Series Book 1) by Keira Montclair Hero is an amputee, plus... not going to spoil the plus
Embattled Hearts (Military Romantic Suspense) (Lost and Found Book 1) by J.M. Madden Hero is a para, not really accurate. The rest of the series has: serious facial scarring, and an amputee. We're waiting on the book for the hero that limps.
Lots more come to mind, but this post is long already. I normally favor heroes with scarring/limps so if someone else does, I can absolutely post those.
