I re-found Feist again after not listening for a while, and god I love her voice! Here's one of my faves!

No, but I like what I'm hearing! Definitely like Dorian but like at "My Agenda" energy level for every song.

I just heard this track today on Alexa, and I think it's a beautiful duet.

I just got tickets to see the Violent Femmes at the Rady Bandshell in downtown San Diego. Such a great venue. So many retro bands have been playing since the pandemic ended. I've seen the Psychedelic Furs, Tears for Fears, Elvis Costello, and at least one more that I'm forgetting. Oh yeah, got tickets for Barenaked Ladies at the open air theater at SDSU. I'm psyched. Great accessibility for people in wheelchairs.

Karen Carpenter died 40 years ago today. Complications of anorexia and bulimia. You can see it in her face. Anyways, she has the best voice I've ever heard. Perfect pitch every time. And she plays the drums while singing. It's terrible that she died at the age of 32.

Unpopular opinion:
The Garth Brooks album as Chris Gaines was underrated music wise. I'll give you that the character with the black wig shaped like a modern day Karen is laughable at best, but the music is really good for a mix feel of pop, soul, and country all rolled up into one musical egg roll.
Unfortunately, the music can't be found by Garth himself. Just a bunch of cover bands that don't nearly do it justice.
This is the only music video he did for the album

Apparently, the concert is going to be a tribute to that album. They're going to be backed by the San Diego symphony, if you can believe that. I can't wait to see what it's like.

Singer never got off the stool, they both seemed worn out or something. I'll be seeing New Order next week!

Didn't know they were starting a new tour. I only see a few dates so far. Texas and louisiana. Are you in one of those States? I sure hope they put up some Cali dates.
