For some reason... Puddles makes me think of Steam Powered Giraffe... the vioce? the style? I don't think I can call myself a fan... I love this particular song and occasionally have to hunt it down to listen to it. But I've not ever bought any of their stuff. I need to, though.

I'm in a shitty headspace so I'm listening to one of the saddest electronic albums I've ever heard. Which also was my favorite album of 2013. Which reminds me that I need to start making yearly top 10 album lists again.

The new M83 album is amazing and this song sounds like a theme song from some kind of 70s sitcom.

I can't see postmodern jukebox without thinking about puddles pity party: Love this!! I don't know how I haven't seen this before. I especially like that they seemed to have based it off of the Tears for Fears version (the pace, cadence of the voices, etc), with maybe a smattering of the Gary Jules version. Going to go watch all of their vids now....

Coming off of a high from vacation... love to absorb some of the local music everywhere I go... never heard this song until the vacation.. probably won't hear it in the states.. DEFINITELY the song of the trip..
The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time. -Mark Twain

I can't see postmodern jukebox without thinking about puddles pity party: Holy cow, this is just wonderful. Love to see a Vaudeville resurgence go down. Speaking of which, and inpired by Puddles:

OMG Tiny Tim! Scary dude!
I've been listening to Hozier recently, his music is making me want to lay in the grass and think about life.
