Some pics I posted when I made the introduction. Nothing special, they're just regular pictures of myself

No, I'm not disabled.
It's just privacy paranoia or whatever you want to call it. I don't mind people seeing my pictures, but leaving them on a public forum is a different issue *shrugs*

Uthinkuknwme, I think (judging by the message you sent me and this thread) that you're a little confused about the members on this site.
Primarily, the guys are disabled. The women are devotees, who are not disabled.

Hi! About the pics... *laughs* the link was there for a while, but I'm not entirely comfortable with just leaving it there all the time. Anyone can send me a PM if they want them There are many members on here who have had a picture as their avatar, but change them or dont have a picture later on. It is an individual choice, and dont feel pressured by members of the group. Welcome to the group

I still haven't joined up yet, but if I do, I don't know if I'd feel comfortable posting pictures. If I were a guy, I'd do it. But if someone I knew happened upon this site and saw me, I don't know how understanding they would be.
But I might be able to post pictures of other parts of me that would be less easy for my colleagues to identify ;D

No objections here! In fact, we could all do that, it would be a fun game. - Sid

I'm with you, amy. I'd be willing to post parts of myself but not my entire face/body.. just out of fear of other people recognizing me. In that respect I am definitely still a closet dev.

That is the difference in posting avatars. Us wheelers dont have any problem with posting pics of ourselves, where as many devotees have problms even admitting their attraction to themselves, let alone showing themselves potentially to the rest of the world. I would hate to think we would put devotees off this site by pestering them to post pics of themselves We do have the option of personal messages. To me this would be the ideal if people want to exchange pictures to be able to see who we are talking too etc

I guess I would say that I'm "out" in that I've dated disabled men in the past, although unfortunately no one with an SCI. But it's very different to flash your picture on a message board like this. It's hard to articulate exactly, but I think that people are much more understanding of a girl who dates disabled guys than of a girl who actively seeks them out, reads erotic stories about them, and fantasizes about them. Also, if I want to post a pic, how do I do it? I need to get someplace to host it, right? Sorry I'm not very web savvy.
