Hi! Describing myself is definitely not my forte, but I'll try.
I'm a 20-year-old Spanish girl, currently living in the middle of nowhere (ie. the far west side of Spain). Though this is supposed to change next year, since I'll be studying in Brussels ;D (and from my perspective that's in the middle of everything *keeps planning trips*)
I'm a language freak and a translator wannabe. I speak Spanish, English, some French and a language similar to Portuguese... I plan to expand that list someday too.
I have boring hobbies like reading way too much and listening to weird music, and I must confess I'm a bit of a couch potato (my body and sports just don't go along well). I'm a bit introverted sometimes, but I love to meet new people and I'm always up for interesting conversations.
I won't give my email right here, 'cause I happen to like the one I have way too much to post it on a public forum [spam scares me]. You can write me a private message and I'll give it to you, or leave your email here and I'll write if I'm interested [ie. say something other than your email]

Wow! Hot and spicy Latina! Nice pics. Welcome to the board Enid. I look forward to getting to know you better. I assure you, I'm not as much of a perv as I sound. You have nothing to worry about. - Sid

*blushes* thanks for the compliments, guys!
Judit: why do you wish you were in Spain? I saw your introduction (I was going to reply to it, actually), and from what I can gather from the map (I've already started to study it, I love maps and having a clue about where I am) the Etterbeek area seems to be close to where I'll be studying.
Sid: I wasn't worried, trust me.

Judit: why do you wish you were in Spain? First because in Brussels you more or less never see the sun... It is usually gray and foggy and cold - or hot and humid like in a rain forest without the beauty of it... People are usually sick... Brussels is a small city - and for me after Hungary - and for my French and German and other friends - it was as if traveling back in time at least 3 decades... I've seen your pics - you live on a beautyful place. Why would anyone give up this beauty? The second reason why I'd like to be down there is of course "someone".. I saw your introduction (I was going to reply to it, actually), and from what I can gather from the map (I've already started to study it, I love maps and having a clue about where I am) the Etterbeek area seems to be close to where I'll be studying. Yes, Etterbeek is quite a nice place, and for me it is neer my job (most of the EU institutions are here). It is actually very old fashioned, and pretty quiet at evenings and weekends when the institutions close. When you arrive and would like to meet or if you need some help just drop me a line.

I'm with Judit; if I lived in a place as lovely as where you live, Enid, I sure wouldnt trade it for the cloudy urban griminess of inland Europe.

I can't help it, I'm a city girl Those pictures are from my parents' place, half an hour away from where I am right now. And yes, it might be lovely, but I sort of don't like the fact that I need to walk half an hour to get to a supermarket or a bus stop! (and the way back it's all uphill!) Besides, we're the kind of family who is far better if kept away from each other Right now I live in a tiny shared apartment in a small city. Brussels is small for a country's capital, but where I am we have only around 350,000 inhabitants, so it probably will look big to me! Still, I'm not going there to do tourism (though I plan to) but because I really need it for my studies. I'll probably miss the sea, as usual; but I survived a year in Michigan, which probably has a far worse weather and it's way further away from the coast than Brussels is, so I'm not too worried about it, really. Judit: I'd love to chat with you. I'll send you a private message, ok?

Hi! About the pics... *laughs* the link was there for a while, but I'm not entirely comfortable with just leaving it there all the time. Anyone can send me a PM if they want them
